Harden is worth 10 first round picks with no protection + Swaps at this point. Trading him to the Nets for scraps is just stupid and if it actually happens then this franchise is doomed. The only remotely even fair value for Harden right now is to get back a young legit all-star + 5 future picks. If no teams want that then we should play out Harden + WB until their contracts are over and we finally have our own picks to tank.
We need to just follow the Kobe Lakers ingredients to constructing the team. Champion Lakers. Current Rockets Bynum. We don’t have Gasol. We don’t have Artest. Roco slight match Kobe. Harden Match Fisher. Gordan Advantage match Trade Westbrook to get the closest comparison to those missing Center and Power forward positions. Free Agency as well, however a Lamar Odem player will be tough to find, he was a catalyst for those Laker teams. Our heavy 3point barrage and overall team defense would have to compensate for not finding a player like that.

Trade 3rd (maybe Wiseman) and get an 5 and/or 4 instead. Or 2 legit starters and moving PJ to bench. FRP will not start for years on this Rockets team. Especially a player like Wiseman who had very little college experience as it is.
Actually not a bad crew there, all young and can ball. Would be a great get for harden. Thats the team that was competive last year in east. Those 4 players could develop and be really good in few years. Thats like 3-4 potential good and great players, 2 future allstars probably. Dwindle and Levert may crack a allstar team some day.

I don't think Wiseman is dropping at 3 guys...i just don't see how two teams will pass or not trade up to get him at 1 or 2.
I wouldn't be looking for a guard in return for Westbrook .... I want a quality 3 or 4 instead - Harden is your primary ball handler , optimize the rest of the roster around that idea. I like the idea of getting Oubre and other parts from PHX.
Those players are not garbage homie, thats why 2 old stars like durant and Kyrie wanted to go to Nets. They wont get traded anyways cause nets are set you watch.

Brogdon and Turner plus 5 unprotected FRPs and 4 swapping for higher pick every other year alternating with the ones we give for Westbrook. ...for... Harden 5 extra and 4 favorable picks, an above average point guard and a center tied into 4 year contracts for our heart and soul. pairing Harden & Sabonis with Oladipo / Warren maybe win a championship or 2 coming out of the East. We need to do it now to maximize Harden’s value. Sadly I think this is the right kind of move for us.
