It's just scrimmaging, but Bruno is sleeping out there as usual. Tate brings good energy. I have some hope from Clemons too. We need more length and size along with toughness and smarts. There is no room at the inn. Harden and Russ wouldn't be concerned, if Bruno was the Brazilian KD. @D-rock
If i hear you slander Bruno one more time, I'm going to respond that you are no fun one more time. He's the GOAT and there is nothing you can do to change that.
Fine, it’s a Tate highlight reel. No hate, just disappointed. If he proves me wrong, I will be very, very happy.
It would be a coup for Rockets to acquire Christian Wood, Morey tried to do this during Capela trade and failed. Stone is Morey-lite, at best. Perhaps Rockets can identify a similar diamond in rough and so more easily acquireable. 6'10 Wood is a stud on offense but not quite as skilled on defense. 6'9 Bruno is very similarly skilled offensive player to Wood but much better defender with the greater wingspan (7'7 vs. 7'4) and defensive instincts. And he is more switchable due to better lateral agility and greater length to recover when trailing. Another option is 6'9 Jonah Bolden (7'4 wingspan). Bolden has the 3ball range, better ball handling, passing and much more aggressive as a disruptor on defense. And both Bruno and/or Bolden are much more obtainable than Wood.
This a hundred times. Please just get some help. And don’t overpay and wonder what happened to the cap space. Remember: One doesn’t have to take the prettiest girl home to have a good time.
I am on the anti-trade Harden camp and will always feel as such. But if this ever becomes necessary then this the trade that must go down. PHI: James Harden, Danuel House MIA: Giannis Antetokounmpo MIL: Russ Westbrook + 2 Heat FRP HOU: Ben Simmons, Tyler Herro, Andre Iguodala, Al Horford, Matisse Thybulle, Kendrick Nunn + 3 76ers FRP + Heat SRP 6'10 Simmons (24)/6'2 Nunn (25)/6'3 BMac (27) 6'5 Herro (20)/6'3 EGo (31) 6'5 Thybulle (23)/6'5 Nwaba (28) 6'7 RoCo (29)/6'6 Iggy (36) 6'9 Horford (34)/6'5 Tucker (35) Rockets have assets in EGo, Iggy, PJ and/or Horford at trade deadline: optional. This trade also clears positive cap room for MLE player. Vet min signings: 6'9 Bruno (25), 6'9 Bolden (24), 6'6 Justin Anderson (26), 6'4 Tyler Johnson (28), 6'7 sniper Ryan Broekhoff (30) Simmons already has chemistry with Bolden, Anderson and Broekhoff as all played with him on 6ers (and Bolden & Broekhoff also played for Aussie Olympics team). Silas also coached Broekhoff in Dallas last season.
https://tradenba.com/trades/YYor1K6De my dream scenario that I've repeated. Russ for Knicks #8, Mitch, Kevin and Frank Frank and #8 for Jrue. Option 2 is the Malcom + Myles option from Indy. STONE you are the GOAT get it done.
I haven’t tried my hand at this in a while but I’ll give it a shot. Detroit Out: Rose Griffin Detroit In: Randle Oladipo Gibson New York Out: Randle Gibson Knox New York In: Westbrook Indiana Out: Sabonis Warren Oladipo McDermott Leaf (Salary Filler) Indiana In: Griffin Gordon Knox House Houston Out: Westbrook Gordon House Houston In: Sabonis Rose Warren McDermott Leaf Rockets Starters: Rose Harden Warren Covington Sabonis Bench: Tucker Leaf McDermott Nwaba Possible Signings: Rivers, Jeff Green, Gerald Green
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y4zzosok Pipe Dream, Let's See How bad the Knicks want him.. Knicks Out: Randle, Barret, Robinson, Smith Jr, #8 Pick Rockets Out: Westbrook, 2nd round picks Westbrook gets to run his own team again, I think he values triple doubles over Championships. Triple Doubles are his Championships' I feel like he believe he's already engraved in history so a Championship may not feel as important to him, just my honest opinion.
Okay so realistically what is even out there that is getable with Russ? I would do a Holiday for Russ swap in a heartbeat but I don’t believe salaries are even remotely close and I doubt New Orleans would even go for it.
NOP would take that trade in a heartbeat. Russ is still a superstar fam. In any case, Rockets will have multiple options if and when they are willing to trade Russ. But options will dwindle once rosters are set, best options are now - before and just after the draft. NOP, DET, LAC, LAL, PHX, ATL, MIL, MIA, NYK, CHA, ORL, IND will all have some interest. Any team that needs legit PG or 2nd/3rd superstar to take them to next level will all be intrigued.
Yeah but I don’t think all of those teams are 1. Going to value WB like that 2. Have anything to trade that’s realistic MIA doesn’t have the salaries to match currently. So they are out. The Lakers and the Clippers don’t have the assets that the Rockets would want back. So I’m going to assume they are out as well. Phoenix does but they are in talks with the Thunder for CP3...so who do they like more CP3 or WB. Mil might bite, if they lose out on CP3. DET would be interesting...maybe Derrick Rose, Tony Snell, and the number 7 pick would do the trick. Charlotte has picks but I think a Batum plus pick for Russ swap isn’t something I would be interested in. So that leaves the Knicks, IND, NOP, and the Magic. There are some assets on each of those teams that I would like for the Rockets to acquire. Problem is Harden has said he is not interested in a rebuild. That means he wants stars. That means Jrue Holiday or someone with a big name. If they can get Horford or Derozan or LMA or someone to come play alongside Harden, that’s what he is here for. If they trade just for picks and expirings, expect Harden to request a trade as well.
