Morey may be the only GM who will take a chance on an All Star even if they have already stated a different preferred destination.
To win this year maybe. But if I'm Stone I try to snag Precious who I think can help take the physical load off of Wood so Wood can concentrate on getting buckets.
I do too. But it sounds like Miami is hot and heavy for Beal (which makes sense, he is the better player) so I will make it worth Miami's while to go for Dipo (by offerring Dipo at a price that justifies them going that route) because I really want Precious to team him up with Wood. There are several posters here who have equated Precious with Montrezl but I dont see that as a good comp as Achiuwa's defense can be his calling card and Harrell is not a very good defender.
Nothing against Beal but we traded Harden away to rebuild. Not to rebuild the Wizards. Nothing against them, really, it's a principal thing. We traded Harden to rebuild, I think people want to prove it really wasn't him or this team is still good or whatever but that isn't the point anymore. Good golly I do not want to be Lebron's first round sacrificial lamb.
Getting the NBA leading scorer + our top 3 defense would be considerable. There is no guarantee that any draft picks will give us anything close to that.
Or just dive in deeper on what we do best, defense. I mean if you want to play the guarantees game... I guess I'd rather take 8 swings at it instead of believing the answer is Wall and Beal when the evidence for that is available online for free.
I don't think calling Wall a rental is even remotely accurate. Anyone with multiple years and especially at the figure he carries is a core piece by default. So, not Beal and Wood. Wall, Beal and Wood. And Eric Gordon.
We will see. Rehab Wall's value for season and a half and I believe he's traded. Stone is collecting and hoarding FRPs.
Zach Lavine or Bradley Beal? Who has the more upside? And which player would be better fit with Wood and easier to acquire?
