Come on man lmao. You think you can get a All-Star center who averaged 20/11/3 this season and a DPOY caliber 22 year old for a declining point guard who can't shoot?

Allen playing over DJ is why Kenny was fired, he will be a star here.

Eric would fit in perfectly next to Kyrie KD and DJ. Prince isn't necessary, could also be a sign and trade of Joe Harris. Either one of those two would essentially become sixth man. The question is whether Russ can play with a non-shooting big. It didn't seem to work with Capela.

HOU would love this, so would CLE but why does POR do this?

They are getting the older players. Plus Russ is hated by Blazer fandom.

Isaac is injured and will be out for entirety of next season.

Plus he is looking for extension.

Yea I agree on your other points but this didn't stop us trading for him. Russ is here to stay. If he's traded i'd be completely shocked. No way we don't at least do the pairing until next trade deadline. It was too strange a season to blow that duo up after giving up so much to land them. RoCo, Harden and Russ should all be on the team come December (or whenever it starts).

Been pushing for this trade for ages, but it really depends on next coach.

In current Rockets system, AG would be Rockets 5 (think of a more versatile Amare Stoudemire).

    Russ
    Harden
    RoCo
    PJ
    Aaron Gordon

Nwaba 6th man off bench. Need to extend PJ, re-sign Jeff Green, McLemore is another trade asset depending on new HC.

Rockets need more length and height as well as better 3P% in this rotation. Vet mins for 7'0 Dragan Bender, 6'9 Jonah Bolden, 6'7 Ryan Broekhoff (40% 3P), 6'4 Tyler Johnson (37% 3P), 6'6 Justin Anderson.

Why do the Magic want Oladipo back? They were his original organization. He doesn’t address their outside shooting issues, either.

I’d focus on EG and House for Aaron Gordon instead.

    Congratulations on a successful trade
Due to Houston being over the cap and having a post-trade Team Salary over the Tax Threshold, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston could not receive more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here.

Due to Indiana being under the cap and choosing to invoke the Cap Room rule, Indiana could not go over the cap by more than $100,000 of post-trade Team Salary, which did happen here.

This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I would take this trade so fast, your head would spin.

Would ORL do it is the question, would mean putting Fultz on the bench. Rockets may have to add sweetener like House/McLemore or a pick IMO.

    Magic starting 5
    Russ
    Fournier (if they re-sign)
    Okeke
Aminu (until Isaac returns from injury)
    Vuc

    Rockets starting 5
    6'5 Harden
    6'4 Nwaba
    6'7 Ross
    6'7 RoCo
    6'9 AG

With PJ and Bamba first off the bench. Or replace Nwaba with 7'0 Bamba in starting 5 for more length/height.

This would be a good trade for both franchises that need new blood and much needed shake up after consecutive disappointing seasons and off season turmoil.

    HOU receives:
    - Eric Bledsoe (4 years, 15.6 mill)
    - Brook Lopez (1 year, 12 mill)
    - George Hill (3 years, 9.1 mill)

    MIL receives:
    - Russell Westbrook (4 years, 38.5 mill)

    *Works on the Trade Machine*

    -----------------------------

Why Houston does this: Gets rid of the albatross contract. Maintains depth at the backcourt position. Gets a 5 who can space the floor and play defense. Pick and pop game with Harden would be amazing. If Brook Lopez doesn't work out, it's fine because his contract expires. The Bledsoe contract is a bit bad, but it's not Westbrook bad.

Risks: Will have to pay Brook Lopez a LOT of money after his contract expires.

    Bledsoe / Harden / Covington / Tucker / Lopez
    Hill / Rivers / Gordon / House / Green

    ----------------------------

Why Milwaukee does this: PG and SG positions are still strong, despite losing Bledsoe and Hill. Avoids having to pay Brook Lopez the max, which is probably what he's going to request. Gets rid of Bledsoe, who has been a disappointment for them. Gets a hyper-athlethic star in Westbrook, who can handle the ball; the PnR game with Giannis or PnP game with Middleton will be amazing. Westbrook also adds fire and passion - something that I don't really see with anyone from Milwaukee, besides Giannis. Giannis might be extremely happy that he's getting Westbrook, even though Westbrook might not be able to shoot well.

Risks: MIL only makes this move if they get some sort of guarantee that Giannis is staying long term.

Westbrook / Middleton / Matthews / Giannis / Robin Lopez
    DiVincenzo / Connaugton / Ilyasova

Oladipo is an All Star, younger and disgruntled in IND. And Oladipo addresses upgrade to SG (instead of re-signing Fornier) who is tenacious defender and as 36% 3ball shooter in 2019-2020 improves team's 3P. Magic also have opportunity to correct huge mistake in giving him away.

But EGo/House for AG works for me too.

I am for whichever trade package that will make ORL bite. Options are always good.

I also think this trade is interesting . Not sure all teams do it . Still also want to play 3 guard . I think harden is best defensively as a 3 and Russ is probably best suited as a 2 . I know we switch but you are still have to think about small quick guards . If we can find a good enough guard (maybe rivers esp if his shooting improves) Then I’d consider starting a 3 guard .

If we are getting bamba I’d start him . Best way to see if he’s got what it takes to be a legit contending caliber starter . The problem with trading gordon and house is you lose some speed 1-3 . In that case you play big to amplify your strength .

    Russ
    James
    Roco
    Gordon
    Bamba

see if Gordon / roco can be good enough playmakers / shooters / defenders . IIRC Gordon is 6’9” and a speed player . Can he hit the corner 3 ? A 3 ? An 18 footer ? If so this lineup can work for stretches in games and we can put PJ in his ideal role as a 25 minute demon . (Bamba wouldn’t play 20+ mpg unless injuries imo)

we have maclemore . But we need more guards . Could Clemons actually step up !? Frazier ? That would be great , along with another vet guard .

jeff green would be icing on top .

eric Gordon was fantastic defensively and will be hard to replace . Russ shouldn’t be forced to chase around little guys all season long . Gordon seems like a nice 4/5 and def transforms our team in an interesting way , but the trade won’t be successful without replacing Gordon and possibly rivers .

Don't forget Nwaba. Another linebacker sized defender with better hops and ball handling than PJ but similar 7'0 wingspan and can kill it from corner 3.

    Brodie
    Beard
    RoCo
    AG
    Bamba

With PJ, Nwaba, Green and McLemore off the bench.
