only Love trade to make but it wont happen Love, sexton, porter jr for Westbrook, Ben Mac, 1st round pick Capela/IH Love/House Tucker/Porter Jr. EG/Rivers Harden/Sexton
Rivers and a frp for Kuzma? Idk if the Lakers will be able to get a better player than Rivers but they could probably get a better pick if a rebuilding team wants him.
They're not going to trade him to any Western Conference playoffs team and likely wouldn't trade him unless they get a star.
I see that Dedmon is wanting out but recently signed a 3yr 40 million dollar contract. I don't know the asking price but if Hou could round up 13 million in salary...is that even something Houston would even be interested in?
Dedmon plus Bjelica for Capela and Sefolosha works salary wise. Not sure that makes us any better though, I really like Capela's fit here. Kings would need to add a good pick or two to make this fair value.
HOU gets: Love, Henson, Dedmon, Bogdanovic CLE gets: Westbrook, 2 first round picks (1 from HOU, 1 from SAC), 3 second round (1 from HOU, 2 from SAC) SAC gets: Capela, Chandler Team looks like: Starters: Harden, Bogdanovic, Tucker, Love, Dedmon (all can shoot the 3) Playoff rotation: Rivers, Gordon, House, Henson Deep bench: Clemons, McL, Clark, Hart End of bench: Green, Thabo
This was interesting, from real GM Holiday / Rivers / Clemmons Harden / Gordon / McLemore House / Williams Tucker / Clark Drummond / Harty / Chandler
Losing Capela for Drummond and Westbrook for Holiday? Not really loving it. Capela is top switch defender for 5 spot and is also 2nd in NBA in rebounds.
I don't really like that trade before we give up the picks. Harden would probably be furious and no free agent would trust the Rockets after we unload three hall of famers in one year. The upgrade from Capela to Drummond is very small(if at all in our system), especially when you factor in pay. Holiday is solid, but lately is getting overrated on this board. The picks just put the nail in the coffin for me. Two FRP's is really our last fluid trade chip for like 5 or 6 years, we can't afford to be wrong when using them. At the least I would use them to add a 3rd contributor instead of slightly upgrading 2 players. Cmon Larsv8, think of all the Luxury Tax savings Timan could get for those picks.
Marcus Morris could fill a huge role for this team. I like the upgrade of a Drummond over capela, but only if we don’t give up too much. this team is ready for a mix up - I don’t care how well we’ve played in a few games - let’s see if morey can pull another rabbit out of his hat. I fear if we don’t make the final four this year, we may have a new coach and gm next year.
Capela may become untouchable if he keeps playing this well. Just in case Morey wants to make ar splash he could try this: http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yh7pnxs9 Knicks and Wiz would have to waive 1 player. NY wants a first for Morris so we give it to them. Rockets and Knicks send Washington a second. We moonwalk our way to a title if something like this could possibly get done. Westbrook/Rivers/Clemons Harden/Gordon/BMac PJ/House/BMac Morris/Bertans/House Robinson/Morris/Hart Second unit: Russ EG HOUSE/BMac Bertans Morris/Hart Small ball/death lineup: Westbrook Harden Gordon PJ Morris(upgraded Ariza)
Yes....younger, taller, longer, better advanced stats, cheaper. Robinson is a stud, no chance they trade him.
