I think it prohibits 3 supermax contracts.

Ah. As would most budgets in the first place. Yeah, I was going to say, if true about the three maxes, then all the Jimmy Butler talk (may it rest in peace) would have been null in the first place.

Not half the rotation, just Capela or Gordon, one of them (adding Shumpert)

    Theoretically
Theoretically, you could do this, but asking for the pistons to take on 19m for shumpert even for 1 year is pretty improbable. You would have to sweeten the deal with draft picks. Unlike Chris Paul, BLAKE would attract a lot of offers. If we could pull this off for Gordan, Shump, and 1 pick. I would do it in a heartbeat

    Capela + Shumpert @ 12,6M$ works

This wouldn't be a bad idea tbh, although a but risky cause Allen is not as proven as Clint, but i'm a fan, he's still very young, long, can rebound and block shots, already has a decent outside shot too...

But my guess is the Nets will try to package him with Levert and or Prince, picks to a team for an all star, maybe Beal next summer after he will ask out.
