False narrative. Hardens 3% is similar to Durants

Sounds like your waiter was on the unprofessional side for an upscale restaurant. They deserve A1 sauce to be poured all over the establishment.

What about the Nike outfit? OP might have a story of interest to te gossip columns.

Wasn't there a TMI drama last year about Harden wearing Nike instead of Adidas? I thought Harden confirmed at the ASG that he was still with Nike then so the story was overblown

This seems to be the water cooler thread today.

I always get a side of raw horseradish with the my steaks, even if it's not prime rib like what the horseradish usually goes with. But I don't dump giant amounts on my steak. Just a wee little zing. I can understand someone wanting a little A1 if it's a comfort, even though I think that stuff is nasty. But all over the steak, James?

I'm pumped about the game tonight but I'm also pretty stoked about that Diaz-Mcgregor fight...especially after all the trash talking. I think me n some guys are splitting the PPV tonight. Ok I'm taking kids to the rodeo now. H-Town folks, get out and enjoy that weather! Later.

Awesome story, and I think the pic is actually cool. Reminds me of that Batman spotlight with his beard being the only marker of recognition.

Thibs and JVG, together, or separately, would be a godsend. At first, I didn't like JVG, but I learned to appreciate how he built the culture and TOUGH identity of all of his teams. I was a big fan of his loyalty to the vets of a team, and putting guys like David Wesley in situations where they could be successful. I mean, David Wesley, with his height and declining skills, put up some good games for us. He was dependable, and JVG had the gift of inspiring players to go to war on both ends of the floor.

Thibs is great, too, but you have to wonder if the rumors of his practices and poor relationship with management is accurate. I don't like to believe that his teams eventually blow up because of his personality or the allegation of running superstars into the ground, where they can't play as hard later in the season because of heavy minutes early on. Well, shoot, it can't be any worse than the minutes James has been playing.

Anyway, awesome pic/story. Thanks for sharing.

I would feel silly ordering a steak that expensive even if I did have the money.

I'm with harden. Eat half plain with light salt- the other half with sauce. A1 works.

    Cool story for real op.

A1 sauce over Wagyu steak!!? Damn you Harden, you ruined the steak.

(who was wearing Nikes, jeans, and a Nike Pro Combat Dri-Fit tee in a nice high-end steakhouse, lol)

What's wrong wearing jeans to highend steak house? Pretty normal in Austin. We have people wearing shorts and flip flop too. Keep Austin Weird :p

Best part of Wagyu beef is to taste the fat that melt in your mouth.
A1 sauce is too heavy, you can't really taste the fat anymore.

I get it. That's why I only use it on half or less of the steak I order- even on filet Mignon.

I do like to enjoy steak with light salt and no sauces though.

I just happen to like A1 on steak, chicken, burgers, & even a tinge on a baked potato or fries. But it's not that often bc I don't eat "bad" very often as I'm no fatty. 6'2" 195.

That has to be it! No sane person puts A1 on quality steak!
