Unfortunaly we a having a brutal offseason. I try to remain optamistic about the draft and signing someone after the June 1 cuts but its not looking good so far.
What's so funny is that the Chiefs teams that I remember most fondly had such stout D. Neil Smith, D. Thomas, and co. and we lost because the offense wasn't explosive enough and we never had a star running back. Now the D stinks but we're set on O. But I mean we should still be good... and winning the Superbowl is just random anyway, so who knows.
Same here. The D was always great but the offense was average at best except for the Montana years. I really like the shift to offense becase i think its more entertaining to watch. If we could just put togater a medocre D next year things will be great.
I think Warner still has it and got a raw deal...Bulger is not the answer...He has no arm strength, but probably kisses Martz' azz...
Another Chiefs fan here...I have a friend who's family is full of Chiefs fans, being from Missouri. I used to watch the games with them every week, starting about 10 years ago. And I DO hate the Raiders. And the Broncos.
Bah. Broncos fan here and I despise both the Raiders and the Chefs!! I am pretty excited about this upcoming season - getting Champ and John Lynch helps our D tremendously. Now, if Q and Galloway can step up at RB, we should be better this year than last year because of the improved D.
Kurt Warner is no more than an NFL version of Kliif Kingsbury or BJ Symons, every QB that's played in that system has put up good numbers. I'd love to see him go somewhere else and just bomb.
When the Oilers left, I decided to become a Packers fan. Packers are publically owned - they're not moving anywhere. The whole state has no other pro sports, so their love for the Packers is completely unconditional. Their stadium and ball club is at the core of pro football history. Packers fan. Texans are now a close second - I just gotta root for my home town. -- droxford
