We've already established that it is Sessions by someone who has knowledge of the Rox.

Not that it means anything, he could just be looking for a place to work and we said sure ;)

Ok, so if Shane has a great preseason, TMac is ready for game #1, and Trevor struggles with a new offense, new defensive scheme, new role, and larger responsibilities (all of which are very likely), Trevor will still be starting, right? People...get it through your heads:

Unless you're a alpha dog, elite player, you aren't promised anything. NOTHING.

If you choose to question the wisdom of Morey paying MLE for Trevor to compete with Shane and Mac for a starting position, that's fine. If you choose to question the wisdom of Morey paying MLE for Trevor to come off the bench (and probably still get 30mpg), that's fine, as well. But please stop spreading misinformation regarding promises, guarantees, or whatever.

    Hopefully, he's coming in a SnT. I'd say you'd have to consider a Lowry/Landry or Brooks/Cook swap.

Players come in at the full MLE all over the league and do not start. What does money have to do with it? Battier makes more. Even if he was better than Battier (he isn't) does that imply he must start? Because Ginobili, Terry, Odom, etc... come off the bench.

I don't think those scenarios would work. Sessions becomes BYC if he's signed for over $870k.

Redd + Sessions for McGrady would be my guess.

Bucks are around $2M under LT. If no one makes an offer to him they're supposedly going to which I assume would be for that figure.

Rockets can shave off around $2M from their LT if Sessions agrees to a deal starting at around $3M

Concur. Redd is not only just as injured as Tracy, but also doesn't play defense.

There is no way that is Sessions. Wanna know why? Cause somebody in the media, like in the houston chronicle, would say something about Ramon Sessions being at the Rockets practice. Hell if Kelvin Cato was at a Rockets practice it would be mentioned. Theres no way in hell they wouldn't mention Ramon Sessions being at a Rockets practice.

What if Sessions signed a deal at ~6 mill per traded for Landry, then in a separate simultaneous trade, the Francis exception is traded for Joe Alexander. Would something like that work?

It makes sense, because Landry can't be traded until september, and Sessions hasn't signed with the Clippers or Knicks, as far as we know

It just seems like somebody in the media would've seen or heard about Sessions at a Rockets practice
