Thats exactly what I think too. Although I'd be more inclinded to say hes the 3rd best player in the draft. With Brandon Jennings...and Luke Ridnour...that means Ramon is expendable for the Bucks...Moreys gotta cash in on this: sign and trade? brooks for sessions (BYC)
This is the first player that I've heard on this board that I like and I think the Rockets have a chance at. Yes I love Bosh and the Pryz/Fernandez duo but Sessions can score and this could be done. I like this kid and we have the same birthday so go get'em Morey
What about Felton from the Bobcats? Would the Rockets have the cash to offer him a decent deal without the Bobcats matching it?
Rockets will need to work out a S&T. Sessions is ideal because Bucks have all these deadweight expiring contracts they got from trading Jefferson.
how about a sign and trade that frees up more cap space in summer of 2010 we trade battier landry and lowry for k thomas B. Bowen (both expire at end of the year) and a signed R. Sessions Anderson/Thomas/Yao? Scola/Hayes/Dorsey Ariza/Budinger Bowen/Taylor/TMAC Sessions/Brooks
sessions my man, sessions.....say it with me......... you must of accidently stumbled upon this thread or something.....LOL I wouldnt want felton over either of our young talented backcourt we have now..........I dont want that broke a** jumpshot anywhere near this team............. we are talkin about acquiring a future all star in this thread.....
Lowry + Cook + White (non-guaranteed) → Sessions (BYC, S&T $4M) + K.Thomas *Sessions falls under Gilbert Arenas rule, ie cannot be offered more than the MLE *Bucks take back $2.265004M less salary Sessions, Brooks Ariza, Barry, Taylor Battier, Budinger, McGrady Scola, Landry, K.Thomas, Dorsey Andersen, Hayes, Yao Jennings, Lowry, Ridnour Redd, Bell, Meeks Mbah A Moute, Alexander, Cook Ilyasova, Johnson, M.Allen Bogut, Gadzuric, Elson McGrady + K.Thomas → Mobley + Harrington + non-guaranteed filler (Sene, Crawford, Hunter) *Rockets save $6.756249M team salary Sessions, Brooks Ariza, Barry, Taylor, Mobley Battier, Harrington, Budinger Scola, Landry, Dorsey Andersen, Hayes, Yao
in 2002, Billups was 12.5 and 5.5. no dominance at all. plus that was the best MLE contract signing any team has ever made. How often will it happen?
Sessions isn't going to accept a prize of 2m/yr regardless of the limping economy, but an offer over that prize would be too luxury for Houston as they have already got two decent point guards in Brooks and Lowry. Houston just needs to sign a PG supposed to be the 3rd option at this position, so it's not smart to spend too much on this player.
Regardless of need, you should snag Sessions if he can be had. Just another asser Morey can play with. Brooks/Sessions > Brooks/Lowry
you guys are making me like this sessions idea. ok so we SNT and lose landry/lowry. who's going to fill landry's shoes??
Even if they do tank this season, It is a gamble because they would need to win the lottery to get Wall. I agree in developing the young players but not at the expense of giving up the season.
Landry+Battier+Lowry for Session and Bogut. If you guys are so high on the anderson trade, lets trade for the starter in the Aussie National Team.
I don't know if this article today was posted. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/218624-the-houston-rockets-should-give-ramon-sessions-a-call
NOOO! I've been hoping for the day that Morey uses the AGE on Newley. Newley is amazing. He's the next Matt Maloney I tell you!!! Funnily enough, Melbourne's main newspaper is called THE AGE.
