Sessions's salary won't fit into the exception. It'd most likely have to be for one of Hayes/Hill/Andersen and a non-guaranteed deal of either Harris or Johnson.

That is, unless Kahn is interested in the expiring contract of Jared Jeffries? ;)

The Rockets should just wait to match Lowry.

No need to take on Sessions' salarys, and definitely do not trade anything of value for him. If Minny wants to give up a draft pick for the Rockets to take on the burden of this contract, then maybe consider it.

If Minny is eager to dump his salary, why help them out?

The reason is because he is not a very good player and had no business getting $16 million guaranteed last summer.

Nothing but point guards and forwards. What the team needs to do is trade Sessions for a Center, then Jefferson to a playoff team9i.e Houston) for some expirings/draft picks so they can build around Rubio when he comes over.

Kahn builds his team like a fantasy team, but his fantasy team blows. Typically, even in fantasy basketball, most people build their teams with good point guards and forwards.

The guy is arguably better than anyone we have as a true PG.

Sessions, when given the playing time in the bucks, has proven to be at least Lowry's level. Lowry is a damn good backup, and I think that Sessions would be in the same boat talent wise. They have different skillsets, but match each other in overall talent. I'd say that Sessions looks like a better playmaker than both Brooks and Lowry, however I've only really seen his Bucks stats and several highlights, so take my comments on sessions for what it is lol.

What does he do so well? Is he a "true PG" just because he can't hit the broadside of a barn and has no choice but to pass the ball? Lowry is a sharpshooter compared to this guy.

What does Sessions offer other than good speed, the ability to penetrate, ZERO shooting ability, OK decision-making and being nothing special at all on defense?

honestly im not a fan of sessions as all ...i find him to be an over rated and overpaid scrub ...the only reason he got attention was because he had one 40 point game but after that game he continued to be the 7 point per game guard and i really didnt feel like he really knows how to run a team

Uh, that same report said he's trying to convince PG Luke Ridnour to sign.

Yep clearing the deck for Rubio...NOT!!!

Honestly Kahn doesn't know what he's doing. He doesn't draft scrubs or make disastrous trades like Mchale (Starbury for Ray-ray ftw), however he's equally inept in his own right.

Sessions is overrated because of that one epic game he had, and is definitely not worth the 16 Mill he's making. Lowry does everything Sessions does, and he's one of the best PG defenders in the league besides. I mean c'mon, the guy can't hit the broadside of a barn! Unlike Rondo though he's not a lockdown defender, and unlike Wall he doesn't possess freakish athleticism. He can create and run plays, however Lowry can do that as well. There's usually a reason why teams want to dump guys like these, they aren't just very good at helping your team win games.

But there's no way the Rockets are going into the season without signing a backup center. It will happen. Still, I'd hate to see Hayes go.

You do realize he doesn't play for the Bucks anymore, right? He played for the Wlves last season and could barely break into the rotation
