BTW the words of Jon this weekend has caused Olbermann to suspend his "Worse Person in the World" segment. Which has always been a bit over the top for me.

Some of the posters in this thread could've benefitted by attending this rally. To stubbornly stick to one's opinion in the face of reality and logic and common sense is just not smart. No one's right all the time, but failing to concede a mistaken argument only makes things worse.

Of course, some of us are too dumb to believe that.

The good thing is that none of these people are probably going to run for office. I mean, how embarrassing would it be if, like, they did and didn't know the difference between Keynesian and Kenyan? Or, like, if they didn't know the Constitution? And couldn't cite Supreme Court decisions? That's what worries me- some day, we're going to have people running for office that fall into this category.
