    What would you prefer:

Garnett for 2yrs then Love for 4yrs after that

    Or:

Josh Smith, Jefferson, Millsap etc for 4yrs?

Celtics aren't trading an injured Rondo. That's just disrespectful. In the history of the NBA, have you heard of any all star being traded while they were injured?

Its over for KG and the Boston era. Rondo's out for the rest of the season and this is supposed to be their last run together.

Thats why hopefully the front office has patience looking for another star player. Stop gaps like Garnett can help the team short term (experience, knowledge etc) and progress the team to the big picture, which has to be another top 10 type player in about 2-3 years time when Harden is in his prime, players like Lin, Asik, Parsons etc have hopefully progressed to a high level also.

Yeah, I, along with some others mentioned this as soon as the injury was reported. It just makes too much sense, especially with all the "Raptors like Calderon more than Lowry" reports coming out.

We should try to pick up KG. He'd be an extension of McHale on the court and would be a great mentor to our plethora of young forwards struggling to find their game.

Makes a lot of sense. Doesn't kill flexibility down the line. Garnett/Gasol pairing is better than Asik/Gasol pairing. Immediate contention, puts Rockets on map. Great mix of youth & experience.

If the hiring of McHale was ever good for anything....it was to get KG over here. No better time than now. Let's make it happen.

Exactly, we should not let the Mc Hale tenure go to waste and should jump on this last chance to get KG. Our front court will be massively upgraded and the Rox will move into dark horse territory.
