One of the reasons Marbury is so hard to trade is you need to be a CPA to figure out what you can trade him for. :)

Agreed. If Marbury under Brown didn't work, what makes this guy think it could work under JVG?

seriously! marbury is the ultimate loser. every team he plays for sucks, and every team that trades him away flourishes. if he was unhappy with larry brown, imagine him with jvg. starbury would quit on day 1. there is no way he would accept a lesser role, even with 2 superstars carrying the load...

now channing frye, i wouldn't mind having him :D

LOL. We better jump on this kind of logic. Once Isiah gets fired it's not going to work anymore.

Man, I hate people with attitude problems. They ruin their talent, they ruin their futures, the ruin the whole team. I didn't like Mike James cuz the guy was all about money. This guy is even worse. Arrogant to hell. Lol, if we had this guy then Yao'd be like a statue under the hoop, and has the whole game turned into a marathon between courts for him. Rafer is actually okay. He has passion and love for the team and for they game. He just needs to work on his passes and his 3s. We don't need another all-star, we need an unselfish guy that puts the team first. And if their's a guy totally unlike that, that's Marbury.

    It's the Knicks, they'll take anybody. ;)

We traded MJ for Alston for a reason. JVG wants a true PG that can distribute the ball. Marbury is just a Mike James w/ a ridiculous contract.

I'd take back Stevie over Marbury in a second.

Francis could work as a 2 guard for us along with rafer the same way we wanted James to play the 2 guard. Just say no to Marbury though, the guy destroys every team he's on.

    Would anyone do this?

    Juwan Howard
    Rafer Alston
    Bob Sura
    Luther Head
    2007 1st rounder
    FOR
    Steve Francis
    David Lee

Use your MLE to sign Spanoulis or Marcus Banks, then sign Cato or Lorezen Wright with your TE, your lineup looks like:

    PG: Francis/Spanoulis or Banks
    SG: McGrady/Snyder
    SF: Battier/Novak
    PF: Lee/Cato or Wright
    C: Yao/Mutumbo
    Bench: Lucas III, Hayes, Bowen

Obviously, you're weak at PF, but if you're serious about given Battier a lot of minutes there, it's not a huge problem. Otherwise, it's a great lineup. Everyone wanted Mike James, but Francis is younger and better.

no, I would not want the Franchise back in Houston at any price. He and McGrady would not be able to share the ball.

Just take a look at the top of your screen under Clutchfans Latest: "Rockets make low-risk move....." because that pretty much says it all about how the rest of the offseason will go.
