blah, blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah .................when we hit the playoffs it was hit and sunk, one and done, because Rafer simply can't shoot the basketball and we had no other options.
blah blah blah....logical analysis...blah blah blah. no one could shoot well in the playoffs. are you implying it was because of rafer that they lost? i hope not because thats a weak case and shows you are singling out the guy on bias. No one played particularly well in that serious. not even tmac or yao. but you are right, there were no other options which is EXACTLY what i said and that is/was a problem! is there an echo in here?
Rafer, why do you keep putting yourself in bad situations? This is so obviously a false accusation, but Rafer has to learn to be smart enough keep himself out of situations like this. Especially for the second time in the same offseason. Does he really miss JVG that badly?
yup, and he would have flown in on magic carpet atop his unicorn. and vspan would be league mvp and starting ahead of kobe in the allstar game.
yeah, in the 2nd newspaper story posted. 1) It said the guy called police at the hospital about the cut. 2) Witnesses at the bar said they didn't see him get slashed by Rafer. 3) Somewhere between the bar and the hospital, he got cut without witnesses. It's obvious Rafer followed him to the hospital and slashed him in a men's room stall! The guy is trying to sue Rafer for money without witnesses. What a dope.
didn't see the espn article posted, if it has been then shoot me: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2994735 HTML: Alston charged with assault in New York stabbing Associated Press Updated: August 28, 2007, 1:12 PM ET Comment Email Print NEW YORK -- Houston Rockets guard Rafer Alston was released without bail on Tuesday after being charged with stabbing a man at a Manhattan nightspot -- his second brush with the law this month. Alston Police arrested Alston, 31, early Monday on felony assault charges after responding to a brawl at a nightclub. A criminal complaint alleges that amid the ruckus, he slashed a man at the club in the neck. Alston, who grew up in Queens, was ordered to return to court on Jan. 3. His attorney did not immediately respond to a telephone message. The arrest came three weeks after Alston was charged with misdemeanor assault and public intoxication in Houston. Alston was accused of grabbing a parking attendant's arm, shaking him and spitting on him after Alston's vehicle was towed from a lot. The attendant said Alston parked illegally and did not pay. Alston told a Houston television station he got into a shouting match with the attendant but "nothing transpired." The 6-foot-2 player out of Fresno State joined the NBA during the 1999-2000 season with Milwaukee. He signed with the Rockets in 2004 and averaged 13.3 points last season.
