Rafer isn't that bad ?

    Yeah, I remembered that right after I hit the post button. Hence my follow-up of "Assuming they'll take him back".

    I'm curious as to what the Rockets are planning for Brooks. If I remember correctly the rumor was that a trade to Sacramento for Artest fell through because Houston didn't want to part with Brooks, which makes me wonder what their plans are for him.

    But it was more than just the numbers and the shooting. Francis couldn't even understand the offense. James could not run it properly. I dont think Alston is given enough credit for pushing the ball and setting the offense up quickly and properly.

    And as flawed as Alston is, at least you know he will come in and work hard. He is not the type of guy who will get a big contract then play like crap until his contract year.

    I agree with this. I certainly do not think Alston is those things.

    v-span to the rescue.


    he shoots 35% 3pters during the season and hit 44% of his 3pters in the playoffs. yeah, rafer really let the rockets down.

    and udrih is not an upgrade.
