I am sure rafer will get the standard 2 game suspension. but honestly, I hope the Rockets make it longer. I think 10 games would send the right message.

Let the government deal with the fact that you and your friends stupidly endanger out lives. Wow. It's illegal but you don't care. So if you saw someone kill 5 people would you stop caring after awhile because it happens so much? Because consistent DUIs is not ok just because almost everyone you know has a drinking problem.

...and i never said that he doesn't deserve the consequences/shame. I just feel, as long as there are legalized drugs like alcohol around and there are irresponsible people around there will be people who drink irresponsibly. It is inevitable. Neither you, me, or anyone else can do anything about it. So, i choose to care about the things that either i can impact or that affects me and my loved ones.

I don't encourage drinking at all, anyway. You guys can wag your finger and say shame on Rafer all you want but more than likely he won't hear it and i am doing just as much as most of you to stop drunk drivers from killing people.

If you're legally intoxicated then he's not in full control of himself. People like you not caring is the reason why there are so many people dead. Because people like you think it's ok to drive drunk since you haven't killed anybody yet (to my knowledge) you think it's cool. Ultimately what could you do? How about actually caring and stop blaming the police and driving drunk and tell your alcholic friends to stop driving drunk. You wouldn't have to worry about trusting law enforcement if you and your friends weren't stupidly driving around drunk.

Well, that's just not true. There is a difference between drinking and driving and driving drunk.

Clearly you aren't doing as much as us since you basically admitted that your friends stupidly drive drunk but you do nothing to stop it. And you can do something about it. Partially. Saying it's inevitable and there is nothing to we can do about it so you don't care is stupid. Rape happens to, so does murder, so I guess you don't care about that either because you can't do anything about it? It just sounds to me like you and your friends drive drunk and you're trying to blow it off. As for us "wagging our finger in shame at Rager" and he not hearing, bullcrap. Because the more people complain the more likely the Rockets are going to dump him, if he keeps doing something like this. And no you're not doing as much as most of us to stop drunk drivers from killing people or you wouldn't be defending DWI/DUIs or trying to ignore the problem.

First of all, i don't drink and if i'm with someone who is drinking i drive. Also, i never said anything about me and my friends. You shouldn't either. When i say most people i know, i meant most people (co-workers, extended family, associates, etc.).

Of course, if i saw someone killing people i could do something about it (stop them, call the police etc.). When i hear on the news 5 people were killed, not so much. I choose not to feign interest by yapping about how sad it is around the water cooler and then going about my merry life like most people do.

I care alot about human life but i won't waste my time verbally condemning someone when it is useless.

Stfu, you think DWI's are a joke? Ive had many close friends died due to dumb**** drivers hitting them because they were drunk.

I lost all respect for Alston now, risking the lives of others because your dumbass cant call a cab esp when you're a millionaire.

Rafer is a very bad bad man. We should just cut him and let Brooks start until Morey can finally land us Deron Williams for Shane Battier.

We want to win, and he is a loser guys.

No, we want to win now. Get Steve Nash. Battier, a 1st rounder and Bobby Jackson should get it done.

Man I hope Rafer is doing fine. I wish he would not put himself and the citizens in H-Town in harms way. Need to stop the DWI c@#p. I am still paying after 14 years for some old drunk driver's out on the town. My back and neck have never been the same since that night.

Unbelievable how some people think drinking and driving is no big deal! I blame bush for their lack of education on the seriousness of drinking and driving.

It should be a law that states that if you dont shoot 50% fg and provide 10+ asst a game, then you shouldnt be able to drive drunk
