Not really. Shaq was very easy to get the ball to.

And the way defenses played 5-7 years ago, it was also much easier to feed the post.

yea they had better role players, but the main difference is shaq...

yao can never be that dominate.

the lakers could have still won a title with t-mac instead of kobe, but with yao instead of shaq it would be alot less likely IMO. shaq is the key... think about how for about the last 10 years, a shaq or tim duncan team has won it like 8 times. unfortunately yao will never be able to dominate the paint like them since he doesnt have that raw power that they have.

    Francis > Fisher
    Wells > Fox
    Scola > Horry

in the long run we will have the advantage

what kind of crap is that?
    $10 > $1,000,000

This is like saying some dude on the rec league is better than an NBA player. the NBA player is better cause he's in the NBA.

Fisher has been more of a clutch player than Steve. look at his rings.

And how on earth would you even think Scola is better than Horry ( The most clutch player in the HISTORY of the NBA?)

Look, I like the confidence and loyalty for our team, but not the blind stupidity.

I agree with your premise, but the Shaq/Kobe Lakers played with different rules. Nevertheless, their starting lineup was far better than ours. I would like to try a lineup of Francis, Bonzi, TMac, Yao, and Scola, just to see what would happen.

Most Clutch player in the history of the NBA is Reggie Miller.

What are you talking about ,your acting like Fisher Horry and Fox are gods or something where would each of there careers be had they not played with shaq? hmmmmmmm

Fisher has never been a star on his own and has never been expected to lead a team. When teams double shaq or kobe he is the logical option to shoot an open three.

Horry hits clutch shots yes does that make him a great player when thoughtout most of the games he made big shots in his production is very minimal and scola is not proven yet but we will see

You act like those players are gods or something THEY WERE JUST ROLE PLAYER YOU IDIOT

And how many rings did Reggie win? Who's the #1 and #2 3-point shooter in NBA Finals? #1 Michael Jordan , #2 Robert Horry

THEY ARE CHAMPIONS AND IMMORTALS, YOU'RE THE IDIOT TO THINK NON CHAMPIONS > CHAMPIONS

HORRY IS LEGEND. YOU IDIOT!! ROOKIE!!

    So by your logic:

    Mark Madsen > Charles Barkley

    Samaki Walker > Karl Malone

    Devean George > Reggie Miller

Right????? Champions > Non Champions right?

LIKE I SAID BEFORE THEY WERE JUST ROLE PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!

Stop acting like everyone on a championship roster is a hall of famer!

Your right and i am wrong about Battier's defense being better than Fox's. I never really focused on Fox in the Shaq and Kobe era.But if i did i would not have that big of a bias toward Battier. But through my research and watching game tape you see that Fox's defense was really underrated.

It looks like everybody has left out fo the lsit one more line...

Phil Jackson is and always has been miles ahead of Rick Adelman...

When the Kings became a tad better than the Lakers (3-8 they were incredibly deep), he still kept the Lakers ahead by blatantly outcoaching Houston's present coach...

How about one that doesn't cost $14 million per year for the next two years?

Bibby is too expensive given Yao and T-Mac's contracts.

Of course you can. There is no closer comparison to Kobe and Shaq as T-mac and Yao.

7 rings and numerous big shots say otherwise.
