Hey Clutch, remember a while back you had a list of Rafer's 3-game moving average of shooting percentage for all 3 years, and you were predicting that his good performance was just a bit of luck and bound to come down again? And how I said that the graph showed that he was more consistent this year? I'm curious to see what that graph looks like now. Please post an updated version!
Hey hey guys lets stop bickering with Clutch will ya? I think Rafer somehow knows of Clutchfans and read some of Clutch's past comments about him and that probably lit a fire under his ass. Thats why he's been playing so well this year Props to Clutch for inadvertently (or maybe intentionally....) lighting Rafer's ass
Your memory is funny. I didn't predict he would crash -- you assumed that from the graph: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=3467763#post3467763 BTW, Rafer's three-game moving average would show a sharp decline right now given the poor performances of the last two games. He's shooting 32.2% in the last three games, on 20 shots a game. The way I do that graph takes a lot of time, and I'm going to Boston this week with a bunch to do between now and then. Remind me when I get back in a week+ and I'll do it.
Thanks for the update Clutch, you're right about not saying he'd crash but I thought the way the graph was set up was to imply that he would come down to earth sooner or later. Also, yes I know his 3game average would be pretty horrible for this game + last game. I do think that it would show that he's plenty more consistent this year than he has been in the past.
Thanks for coming up big, keeping the streak alive, and most importantly-- taking that #1 spot in the WC, Rafer!
Props to Rafer's miracle performance. next time, shoot less floaters, draw some fouls, share the ball and make efficient passes.
