Why can't any thread with the name Rafer in the title get 5 stars? Well I guess 4 is good enough.

    SKIP 2 MY LEGEND!

There are a lot of words I could try to use to describe Rafer right now. But they'd all fall short.

So I'll just say OMFG YES SKIP 2 MY LOU YOU ARE A GOD

Rafer go to the top of the class and give the pens out!
This is what an old time teacher would say to the class pet pupil.
Glad that Rafer was able to help out with such a great scoring performance!
22 in a row and still counting!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

I can't believe some people wanted Mike James to start over him in the beginning.

I was one of the guys that said Rafer was just in a funk and when he gets his shooting back we will be all right.

I have been frustrated with Rafer in pervious years, just like nearly everyone who is a Rocket fan. But now, I will stand up, say I was wrong, and give him his due. He is playing great, and with the confidence he nneds to succeed. Let's stop undercutting him and get on the Rafer bandwagon.

Between he and the presence of Bobby Jackson on this team, I think I would give our point guard play over the last few weeks an A-. They don't always setup other players as much as I would like, but once Landry returns I think we'll see more ball movement into the post for easy buckets in the paint. His absence has really made other players have to step up their scoring, and Rafer has led that increased scoring with an average of 18.5 in the month of March.

He is not necessarily a traditional "pass first" point guard, but he is efficient, runs the offense, doesn't turn the ball over, plays decent defense, and gets steals, and can both shoot and get to the rim. He is exactly what we need for this team.

    Don't hate.

why weren't those other announcers arguing with jvg about overestimating him at the end of the game? JVG should have rubbed it in their faces..

Rafer is exactly what rox need: tough minded, good shooting, quick point guard. Of course when he starts bricking again, at least we got BJ and Head! Who wouldn't want a little BJ and Head? Even JVG liked Head. Adleman got BJ and Head...lucky guy. Tmac gets a lot of BJ and Head when he's on the court. Even Mutombo enjoys BJ and Head on the bench. Yao likes to practice with BJ and Head. Okay im done.

"some people" ... lol. You mean, like, the Rockets? Hilarious how people re-write history. We all know how often Rafer shot 8-11 from three-ball last year and the year before.

Obviously you have no idea or knowledge of God.
To use the words OMFG and God in the same sentence just shows a complete lack of rational thinking and and a complete lack of having a spiritual life.
If you are very young, I hope to God that possibly have time to amend your thinking and vocabulary. :p

You should have stopped after your first comment, instead, you milked it way too much!

Oh yeah and he still showed some of that NYC kid. Skip 2 My Lou putting on the moves, daring vujabitch to try and steal the ball. When vujabitch fouls him r****dedly...

Rafer won't be havin' none of that on his homecourt. :D

Okay, I think I had too much BJ and Head. It's hard when BJ and Head are around. BJ and Head bring so much to the team. The road trips wouldnt be as fun without BJ and Head.

When it comes to BJ and Head, there's no such thing as milking it too much.
