This thread makes no sense. as with any idea combining the words "appreciation" and "rafer"

I don't like Appreciation threads based on ONE game. Let's see Skip do this on a consistent basis and he'll get some appreciation.

Because nobody ever gets an assist by passing it to somebody who makes a shot. EVER!

Tonight's game proved that when healthy, Kaman and Brand can from a real potent front court.

Now only if they trade Sam for our Rafer, they will become a dominant force in the League again.

Rafer lost his "good game" status for me in the last 5 minutes. He was absolutely pathetic. Hell, he was scared to shoot! Probably afraid he'd just be ruining his fg% the one game when he was hitting for some time.

I watched the whole game and thought he was shooting it pretty well from distance... but i guess thats just me. He definitely looked like he knew what he was doing compared to MJ, who was completely lost and just driving it in and throwing stuff up

First good game since he's joined the Rockets???

Rafer was "amazing" against Dan Dickau and Brevin Night.

Let's see how he does against Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Deron Williams, Allen Iverson, Jason Terry, Devin Harris etc....

I can't believe he starts or plays at all for a team that has championship aspirations. The Rockets will not realize their full potential with him playing.

This thread won't last long - although I would appreciate him if he wasn't on this team.

Rafer is a good Point Guard, but off the bench.....

We will never win big with Rafer starting at the Point Guard...

I hate how Rafer seems to come up with a good game just in time to save his sorry ass.

He'll play crap now for weeks on end, but never fall out of favor with the coaching staff, then maybe play a good game around Xmas to save himself again....

Dammit just when franchise was threatening to get his groove on.

there has got to be something that JVG and RA see and understand that mere fans like us do not see with RAFER, buuut...he is our starter and i'm fine with it.

besides, it ain't like he plays the whole game all the time. I didn't watch the game but i heard he played for most of the second half. One turnover is great!

Rafer will be exhausted. I'm worried that Nash and Baron will crush him in the next two games.Steve will need more minutes.James needs to either back up Bonzi or give T-Mac some rest. I wish Snyder could play solid defense. Barbosa and Bell will be a hard cover for Battier. Tracy will probably go up against Marion.GS will be hard too.
