    check yourself people

    Alston was a free agent LAST SUMMER and got mad cash from the Raptors - to be the main man, so

    1) why would they trade him so soon

    2) why would we want his contract now (given that we could have tried to make him an offer 4 months ago)

    Seriously he would blossom w/ Yao here. But I think the Chinese sports officials would mind.

    he's a good player and he doesn't seem to be a bad guy. if anything it sounds like Toronto is a horrible situation for everyone right now. at the same time, i don't know if he'd be a good fit for the Rockets. i think he's best in the open floor and with our roster we won't be a running team.

    Right! Alson has been a fantasy b-ball stud aside from the field goal pct.

    He won't quit, though, cuz he signed that relatively phat contract.
