You're right he is our best ball handler on the team and he know the offense well. I like brooks but he is struggling a little.

    Fed up with Alston...

I think it's better for Morey to ship this wannabe starter out of our team first than T-Crap...PG is very essential in Rick's system and I wonder why the management is enamored by him...if we're going to make a bold move, its Rafer goin out..

Throughout these past four years, I wonder if all these threads of negativity about Rafer Alston would keep popping up all of the time if Bob Sura NEVER suffered his career-ending knee injury?

IMHO, Rafer might have been the backup PG to Sura in 2005-06 if Sura was healthy for that season, and the following seasons thereafter. Maybe, just maybe, we don't see Rafer get as much PT as he had been getting throughout these past four seasons that would enable Rocket fans to criticize him so much.

As far as trading him away is concerned, I feel that a team will only offer the Rockets their trash for him, which would leave the team worse off than it is now just like what we saw in the 2007 offseason.

Rafer Alston is a rare combination of pyrite and cancer all in one. He's been killing this team slowly all while showing a luster only worthy of fool's gold.
