It is a problem with how you're playing as a team because you're playing freaking Rafer... and you're playing freaking Rafer because he somehow performed miraculously in the preseason and training camp... and your being patient with him is nothing more than a gamble with HUGE ODDS against the Rockets because Rafer [insert expletive] during REAL GAMES... and if Francis did fine in the last game, why are you decided on TAKING HIM OUT because you DIDN'T GIVE HIM 20 MORE MINUTES TO DEAL WITH???
The Chinese National People's Congress partially supports steve, basically all scolds mike, does not make the appraisal to alston I love babelfish. lol
lol thats funny. you know i was one of rafer's biggest bashers last year, but i can deal with him more with his reduced minutes. the funny thing is, if we still had Van Gundy, i think Francis would get substantially more playing time. last year's offense required a scoring PG, and Francis would probably best fit that role. how ironic is that? Van Gundy would've gotten the best out of Francis, but with Adelman he's a benchwarmer.
thats why when rafer was on the court, the suns lead increased and while francis was on the court, the rockets got their closest?
It seems to me they played about the same and Francis had a bit of an edge on being able to penetrate. From the last game it doesn't seem like Francis is worse than Alston.
That might be the case as on paper Francis' skill set doesn't necessarily fit what Adelman has historically done. Guards who move well off the ball and hit outside shots. The problem is that Alston doesn't either as he has a problem hitting shots in general.
Lets get Marbury and Iverson and sit their butts on the pine too! That way we can watch more of Alston.
the only reason why rafer is better than sf is francis' bad condtioning.. once he gets in shape he should start..
And Rafer wasnt on the court after the 3rd quarter where the Suns were coasting on offense. Alston had twice as many assists as Francis. Take off the SF3 glasses. Rafer is not a good point guard, but he did outplay Francis during the game on Saturday. If only by a smidge.
I don't think Skip outplayed Steve. Steve didn't really out play Skip either but it was just his first game so that was expected. In that first game Steve looked just as good as SKip did all season. If your trying to say the only reason Skip played better because he got a measly couple more assist, then you are wrong. There were some passes he made that resulted in easy free throws. Everytime Steve and the bench came in, the Rockets made a run. Everytime Skip and the starters came in, the Suns made a run. Steve also was able to create more offensive opportunities by attacking the basket. Yes, you can make more plays that way as opposed to camping out on the perimeter bricking open jumpers. You wonder why Skip gets so many open jumpers? It's not like he moves well without the ball like Rip does or Reggie did. Teams don't respect his shot so Skip stays open all game long. Steve puts pressure on the defense and their PGs have to guard him.
no,是,steve, alston, mike i mean most of our chinese fans support steve, scold mike james, and alston is in the middle of them.
Exactly, neither had a dazzling performance. I am not a Rafer fan, but folks need to realize that Francis had an average debut. Stop making it out to be more than it was. Oh yes, and poor Rafer, having to come into the game usually with the Suns A gamers on the floor. Francis got to come in and deal wiht Eric Piatkowski. Notice in the 2nd half when Piatkowski didnt see the floor, Francis +- actually went down.(+6 in first half, -2 in 2nd half)... Not a knock on Steve, but apples to oranges folks.
Yeah it's a theory that I struggle to comprehend as well. Maybe Alston is very good at kissing donkeys.
These guys are not the ideal PG for Rockets, aithough I am a supporter of Steve. BB is the point of the Rockets manager.
