Actually Rafer Alston is a very pure point guard, hell you can even call him old school. Completely unselfish, and a pass-first, second and third mentality. Definitely not a scoring point guard in the mold of Francis or Marbury (not that there's anything wrong with that, these guys are wreckin it this year).
OKAY. At first, he was a kid from New York who was like a streetball king. I watched him on ESPN2 in Streetball. lol...His nickname is Skip to my Lou. He went to college at Fresno State and was selected in the second round for the Milwaukee Bucks. He barely got any playing time but was very fortunate to be in the NBA and also play streetball in the summer. He has had training from college and has had experience in the NBA. He decided to go to the NBDL to develop his skills. He did very good down there and was signed to a 10 day contract. In his first game, I believe he had 17 points and 11 assists. I don't see why you are demoting streetball. All of basketball today is based on hip hop and crap. Dunking...streetball. It's not all about isolation. It's not 1 on 5 either. Stereotyping..
