Apparently you don't believe in the process called maturity..even in professional sports. He's been babied and pampered. Then he got the wind taken out of his sails then he got exiled to the Knicks. I think somewhere in there, he grew up some.
With a Francis-James-Brooks rotation, we are set at the point guard rotation. One solution for Rafer: We trade him to some team that really, really, really needs a point guard. And we get 1st round draft pick(s) for next year in exchange. When he arrives at his new team, he most likely become the starting point guard, showcasing his inconsistent play and poor shooting, thus pushing them down to lottery range in the draft. Next year's draft is pretty deep. So, in the short term, we solve our point guard conflict. And in the long run, we can get a really quality player for next year in case Bonzi or Francis decide to leave. The perfect plan.
Personally i think Rafer is gone. how can you have a log jam of francis, james, brooks and rafer. thats just to many guards. dont tell me Francis should play 2 guard. we allready have Tracy, bonzi, snyder and head competing for those minutes.
Not when you aren't an intelligent player. Look at David Carr, yeah he was going to mature..... I do believe in maturity but not for Steve, it has been too long and he doens't have the IQ to be a smart, cerebral pg and to not do stupid crap like he does. smart players mature like tmac or tony parker, not guys like steve. but he is a rocket again, and i hope he proves me wrong, and i will be at TC rooting him on the whole way.
Rafer needs to realize that he can't shoot and that steve and mike are plain better than him. hahaa he needs to leave vegas and stop gambling.. he should be working on his jump shot
Why does Rafer have to go? Can't we get rid of Head, Lucas & Snyder, and let Francis play backup SG off the bench?
well Rafer likes to talk now. and what he said isn't cool with me.. let him keep thinking he's going to be a starter.. wait til they trade him. and watch him become a role player ima LMFAO
Rafer wasn't b****in when he said he had been the starter and expected to be the starter. IMO he was just expressing confidence in his abilities to win the spot - he also said he was cool with whatever the situation brought, including being traded. From what I have heard, both Rafer and MJ have responded maturely to Steve's signing. Of course, it's early.
Rafer is useless in this team. Rafer is not a play maker, he can not pass, can not finish on layups, can not shoot. you don't want to trade him when he as crappy stats in Aldelman's system. Trade Rafer as soon as possible when the market is not filled.
