    lawyer who played college basketball

maybe someone who actually knows how to play ball themselves will be good vs nerdy morey thinking 6'5" dudes can play center and win a 7 game series

    I can see that.

Here is to hoping this guy really is another genius that Morey has been cultivating.

How many times does this have to be disproven?

Have you heard Kenny Smith analyze basketball? :D Elton Brand was a damn Star, look at how terribly he is running Phila. MJ?

Great players don’t always see the game If they aren’t playing in it.

I promise you that Stone will not be bad at this job. I’m not sure how good he will be but I believe he will be a bit more pragmatic and risk averse. He won’t turn us into a pushover in trades. I sadly don’t think he’ll be here for long.

My initial gut reaction wasn’t good, but then I realized none of this was HIS fault. He’s smart enough, he might be really good.

Ok am I happy morey is gone? no but its not the end of the world. Hes an east coast guy, hes made millions and he has the right to choose what he wants to do. 13 years a long ass time at any job. He was already debating on leaving when les was here. Im no Tillman fan but from what I gather from positives is its not like he cleaned house the have morey infrastructure here so its next man up.
To me if they hire Lucas they trying to save money. If they hire vangundy we taking a big swing to keep pushing for a ring.

Fingers crossed. That would speak volumes about Morey and be quite a departing gift.

I liked DM, but was as enamored with him as most.

I’m more than willing to give this guy a chance.

hope he widens the coaching search.

So Stone is a branch of the More-ray tree?

If he fleece a GM at a deal...
Don't moan or groan, GM X has been placed in the Stone Zone.

I might get off the ledge, sounds like a promising dude kind of a millenial Morey.

Any bets on how many seasons before Patrick is promoted to GM?
