    You are watching the Playoffs!

Especially the East where the NBA CHAMPION COME FROM. They all have one thing in common...SIZE! There are no 6'10" 220 lbs Centers over there. In the east, that's called a SF. The series between Boston and Milwaukee is brutal and Miami is just as brutal.

You and Silas need to have a round table about developing the front court and decide on if you just want to win the Southwest Division or if you want to win a NBA Championship.

This conversation needs to start with Wood, then Sengun and then the Draft. We all know by know, you can not win a Championship with Wood as your center, so Silas needs to scrap that idea and put him at decide to put him at SF or PF but I would not trade him yet.

Sengun is a SMALLER CENTER, so you need to decide will he be better served as a small center next to a bigger PF (i.e., Myles Turner type), or develop his 3 over the summer, lean him out and use him as a full-time PF or is he better served as a 6-man off the bench....Which is it?

Which leads to the draft. We need more of a paint presence. I know many think Chet is it but personally, I don't see it. To me, it's Jabari or trade but that's up to Silas and Stone. Either way we need to get a legit center and stop with SMALL BALL

I'm watching the Grizzlies and Warriors and a true C has not yet played a single second.

Meanwhile Giannis and Lopez defended the paint so well to force Celtics to shoot jump shot all game.

Meanwhile - expanding the sample size past "things i can remember from more than an hour ago" the Celtics were the best defensive tean in the league without really playing a true C in their lineups.

My real point - not related to either of today's games specifically - its silly to watch one playoff game and decide "yup that's the winning formula so Stone must act accordingly" - but, hey, hot takes make the world go round, so who am i?

Robert William's is one of the better defensive Centers in the East. So is Bam for the Heat, Lopez for the Bucs and Embid for Philly. And it's not a coincidence they are ALL in the East Conf Semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the West is still playing small ball that's why I think the champion will come out of the East... Again

It's all about matchup. It's best to be versatile. Bucks can go big with Lopez and Giannis in the front court. They can also play Giannis at C and go small.

Given your theory Minnesota (KAT), Utah (Gobert), Nugs (Jokic) and the Pels (Jonas) should all be in the 2nd round.

    Hakeem was 6'9 too

I'm not worried about others, I'm worried about the Rockets....we need a center!

    Why?
Neither player meets your 6'11 criteria.

It's the others, not the centers.

Read above. I never said 6'11 but it would help

Meanwhile, in the WC (you know, where the Houston Rockets play?), you have Gobert getting roasted by Doncic, Adams not sniffing the court because he couldn't hang with Minny and both Jokic and Gordon getting killed by Curry and Poole.

It's not as black and white as you make it out to be, OP.
