i'm wondering what do you guys this of this trade...

we get a 4 in radmanovic who can spread the floor, a pg in antonio daniels; seattle gets juwan howard and takes a chance on nachbar and badiane, maybe a 1st round pick, and gets rid of reggie evans's contract (1 yr for weatherspoon vs 2 yr remaining for evans)... and we could use the trade exception for a backup 3 if needed. what do you think?

Seattle trades: C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.0 minutes)
PF Vladimir Radmanovic (12.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.8 apg in 30.2 minutes)
PG Antonio Daniels (8.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.2 apg in 21.3 minutes)
PF Reggie Evans (2.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.1 minutes)
Seattle receives: SF Clarence Weatherspoon (5.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 16.7 minutes)
PF Juwan Howard (17.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 35.5 minutes)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.1 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.5 minutes)
SF Malick Badiane (3.1 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.5 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -2.7 ppg, -4.1 rpg, and -3.5 apg.

Houston trades: SF Clarence Weatherspoon (5.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.6 apg in 16.7 minutes)
PF Juwan Howard (17.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 35.5 minutes)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (3.1 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.5 minutes)
SF Malick Badiane (3.1 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.7 apg in 11.5 minutes)
Houston receives: C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 71 games)
PF Vladimir Radmanovic (12.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.8 apg in 77 games)
PG Antonio Daniels (8.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.2 apg in 71 games)
PF Reggie Evans (2.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 75 games)
Change in team outlook: +2.7 ppg, +4.1 rpg, and +3.5 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Seattle and Houston being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Seattle and Houston had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Badiane had stats for last year?

Maybe you haven't heard, Boki's untradeable.

How does this trade in any way help Seattle? Lets try to dream up trades that at least try to help the other or makes sense. The sonics might want to move Lewis before Radmonovic.

Why not just sign Jones, trade the exception and draft pick or something for a solid power forward now, then wait until September 1 so you could do this deal:

Your rotation would be solid and under 28 years old except for Jim Jackson:

    Jones/Lue
    McGrady/Jackson
    Lewis/Nachbar
    Taylor/Solid PF
    Yao/Booth

Seattle wouldn't do that trade, but going with the theme of this thread...
