If I remember correctly, they began their OK Computer American tour in Houston. BTW, the Houston show for OK Computer was simply awesome. It was at Verizon and was one of the few big concerts that I've seen where the sound was really good. You could actually hear the bass for once (for whatever reasons, too many soundmen seem to think that the most important instrument is the kick drum so they make that 20 decibels louder than everything else). The band was fresh, excited and was at the top of their game. More bands should be as good musically as Radiohead.
I've been a Radiohead fan for years, but have never seen them in concert so I'm really looking forward to this. I know it's a ways off, but any idea when tickets go on sale?
They are incredible live. I saw them in 2001 at the Gorge and it still is one of the best live concerts I've ever seen.. I'd keep checking this site and it should have the on sale info for you. I would expect tickets to go on sale roughly two months before the event.
Try Tickemaster occasionally as well. Well, it's been about a week and Hail to the Thief is really starting to grow on me...just like Kid A....and Amnesiac. Right on schedule.
Does Radiohead play the same show everytime, or do they mix it up like DMB does? If it's the former and they're playing a lot from The Bends, I'm so there.
yeah that was a great show. i wish they were playing there again this year. i havnt been to the auburn whitewhater whatever ampitheater yet. Ill be seeing ben harper at the gorge in Aug too. man i love that place for concerts.
I'm seeing Phish next month there and that might be my last Gorge concert for awhile since I'm moving to the East Coast.. I've seen some very good shows there..
I'm right there with you. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. I think I have a different favorite song on that cd everday, today it is either A Wolf at the Door or Backdrifts.
I saw them at Woodlands 2 years ago (June 2001) and they are pretty badass live. Kinda pissed though that they didnt play "Creep" that wouldve took that cake.
