Radiohead: I don't quite get them, something wrong with me?

Yeah I would agree and so would the lead singer of cold play.

Also, Thom Yorke performing Cymbal Rush from his solo album. IMHO this is alot better than the version on his album.

Coldplay is a great band, mainly due to Chris Martin's vocal range and vocal depth.

Bob Dylan was right in criticizing modern music in saying that the its lack vocal range. Alot of this generic rock you hear today is filled "with static."
It all sounds the same.

 

Radiohead is the best band of all time (IMHO)

 

See, this is why Radiohead turns me off.

I like Radiohead, I have their first 6 albums and I've seen them twice. But a lot of their fans are pretentious as hell and that's a huge turnoff for me.

 

if a fan is turning you off, then you are not appreciating the music Ima. You are gonna get this with Jazz, R&B, Country fans. It doesnt mean that all Radiohead fans are like this. In fact I think it was a pretty dumb comment.

 

I'm kinda late to the party, but I just got into Radio Head a year or so ago.. I think they are a good band, but I also don't understand all the obsession with them.. I think the best songs they've made are Street Spirit and Karma Police..
