Radio Shakeup - 790 chooses Josh Innes over Adam Clanton

I'm glad Innes is gone. Hope he learns not to be such a damn douche and finds Jesus.

That said I hope they give someone like Jayson Braddock another chance, or at least someone like him. Someone who actually has sports knowledge (not like Innes) and personality (not like Sean Salisbury).

Oh man, beat me to it. This was on 610, Sundays nights. I liked listening to it. I found it to be mildly amusing/interesting.

Which is to say, it was a heck of a lot better than most everything else out there. I thought that management put the kibosh on it way too soon.

 

Terrestrial radio keeps hiring and firing people for a dead medium where only old people and people who drive for a living listen.

 

You might be surprised to hear that there are more old people with money in this country than young people

Listen and buy advertising from the grave is an interesting market to go after.

Buried is for archaic barbarians and suckers buying all that **** they don't need. cremation is for the honorable, returning to dust immediately and bravely.

 

Nah man, both burial and cremation are old news, when I go out I'm getting done up and staged up

 

don't forget the people who refuse to pay for something they can get for free.

 

If it wasn't for Innes, I probably wouldn't have been into as much on podcasts as I am now... really can't imagine going back to AM radio to here the same hot takes get re-hashed ad nauseam (let alone listen to somebody who has time to call in from wherever they are to vent).

 

AM is good for local flavor.

I still mess with it.

 

That's what I use Clutchfans for. Smarter people and better takes here than anywhere on the AM dial - callers or hosts.

Josh got AC fired and now AC is going to take Josh's job? Is Jayson Braddock coming back?

 

I would take CP back over Braddock, I think JB got a bit upset at the non-compete clause and the fact he couldn't work for 6 months to a year. It would be hard for him to go back, seems like the bridge may have been burnt.

Great they wised up and are getting AC back, he just didn't feel right over @ 610..
