I think it's more of a matter if Clowney can "learn" to be a OLB playing standing up. Risky proposition to spend a #1 overall pick on him with the "hope" that he can.
Yeah considering it's pretty much the same as DE in a 4-3, the major difference being that your hand isn't in the dirt.
Merciless, Reed, Babin and plenty others say differently... And OLB have to do more than rush the passer. The Texans would get better value by taking a player like Trent Murphy with a later pick. OLB's do not have to be athletic freaks of nature in a true 3-4 system.
