Another note. When I put the cd in my computer at work, the only thing that populates on the album information is the album title. It reads "Soul Donkey" by Unknown Artist in my WMP. No track names. Just Soul Donkey. Anyone else getting this?
Funny - I got tickets last week to their show at Stubb's without knowing that they had come out w/ a new album. I saw this thread and realized that they did come out with a new record, so I downloaded it and have really enjoyed it so far. Can't wait to see them live.
bought my ticket to the sat. night show @ stubbs.... that's gonna be a helluva weekend: 5/1 - gov't mule @ meridian 5/2 - widespread panic @ the racetrack (no ponies running that day ) 5/3 - raconteurs @ stubbs ???5/4 - roger waters??? i dont think i can handle 4 straight nights...
I've never seen them live but, there are some Concert Live cd's of their concerts you can find copies of online. The Raconteurs Live in Manchester 15.12.06 Live At Wolverhampton Civic Hall 24.10.06
cant stop listening to this album. i am taking a little time to throw in the new REM in there ever now and then, though... pretty damn good as well.
haven't checked but i'm sure there is. check out the renovated venue at the racetrack: www.theshowgrounds.com panic should be a good time.
I saw these guys a couple of years ago at Verizon, and that was the 2nd best show I've ever seen there.
E-mail me...blake.gifford@datacert.com If you can't get your friend to commit, I'll road trip it up there with ya.
yeah, i convinced one of my buddies to get a ticket with me so we'll be trekking to austin saturday, hopefully early afternoonish.... depending on how we feel after panic, of course
