LOL...people offended over stupidity. That kid isn't really a racist...HE'S JUST COMPLETELY STUPID and thinks he's some kind of comedian.
I'm with you, I mean it wasn't degrading or to a point where it makes your stomach churn. The jokes weren't funny and this dumbass probably got excited doing his first youtube video...
I thought it is funny. The kid might want to make it clearer that this is a parody. At least I hope he is just trying to be a comedian.
I agree with everything you said. The attitude usually does not change, and these same people will eventually be in a position of power and their engrained opinions will be expressed in the decisions they make. Second, I am all for people being able to hold any opinions they want, and at a private party folks should be able to dress or make fun of anything they want..... but I find the fraternity/sorority "ethnic" parties extremely troubling... you have young adults flaunting stereotypes and in a communal sense say it is okay to be that way.
I agree with your every single word in this post. The same is true for the few sensitive folks in the GARM. If they go around getting offended by what some random Lin fans (or fake Lin fan trolls) said in the GARM, their life will be full of joyless misery. Same reason I don't get hung up over the TOF's comments. I once again agree 100% with what you said here. Why focus on the few LOFs attention w**** nobodies? Why give these attention whores what they want? Its not worth it. So the wisdom here is to stop getting offended by the LOF trolls so you will have a joyful and non-misery life.
These people just make me feel better about myself. Love being a person of Asian descent (Was gonna say love "being Asian", but being "Asian" and being of "Asian descent" wouldn't mean the same in today's society. I think there are positive characteristics from every race and culture and we should learn to embrace all of them regardless of race, culture and origin.
Holy crap. I know Bigtexxx can take care of himself, but the comments earlier are uncalled for. PROTIP: Try to act like you would in real life.
I'm asian and I laughed... Why would I be offended? When was the last time you were offended by someone taking a **** in front of their own house?
OP- everyone (or at least all minorities) knows that racism is certainly alive in America today. It just tends to be more subtle or hidden than it used to be.
I don't think anyone needs to be reminded that racism between black and white people is alive in America today. But they do need an occasional reminder about racism against every other race and you'd be delusional to think otherwise.
It's sad to see this young man having to belittle Asians in order to feel self worth. Hopefully some day he will learn that we are all important in the fabric of society and that our differences is what makes life enjoyable. ............ ............ ............
