Sam's autobiographical movie: http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=despicable+me Is your phone, by chance, registered as a Private Caller?
aside from the ridiculousness of the claims about the audience, no one can tell anything from the short edit clip with conclusion this sign was at a tea party rally, is the whole tea party racist
Obviously, this is no place for debate and discussion. How can you say it is ridiculous to say it sounds like laughter? Is it a bunch of people coughing in concert? Is it a chorus of Amens or Boos? I'm sorry but just to say it is Nothing is just dishonest and cowardly. It is something. It arises spontaneously and fairly uniformly. So what is it and don't say nothing... I don't know if you realize it or not but with the question you've attached to this image, you are proving MY point. Is that Podesta's wife?
except black people at an naacp audience could be. rush limbaugh, well, he's had a black person guest host his show!
Actually if you bothered to read what I wrote IN THIS THREAD, I assert just the opposite. I think racism is both organic and institutional. It's what you do with it that counts.
Since we could see the small area behind the speaker, I don't think that explains it. How about this bit of film from ThinkProgress (Podesta and Soros). <object width="518" height="419"><param name="movie" value="http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/eyeblast.swf?v=XdZuZu6U8z" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="http://www.eyeblast.tv/public/eyeblast.swf?v=XdZuZu6U8z" allowfullscreen="true" width="518" height="419" /></object>
And if you bothered to read what everyone else has written in this thread, you would have no problem understanding that Breitbart deserves all the vilification he's received and more. As I wrote a few posts back, this is not the first time he's done this (of course you ignore that fact, in my posts and elsewhere). And you would also understand that a couple of black people chuckling at the idea of resisting helping a white guy, especially in the context of her having set up the story as a lesson learned, is completely natural. But then, in your world there are no white racists, only black ones. You=weirdo.
So you agree with me that this is no place for debate and discussion? Okay. Good to know that there is no room for alternative views. Look at all the attempts to squash them. It's more than a couple of black people. It seems to be most of the room by the sound of it. How would they know the context? They had no way of knowing how the story would nicely turn around. How stupid do you think we are? My theory is that we all are mostly all "organically" racist by virtue of the circumstances of our birth and early education. I said nothing about black racism alone. Would you quit twisting my words to suit your vile purposes? That is cowardly.
So your cautionary accusation is to call Sherrod and the people at the NAACP meeting she was speaking at racists based upon what you admit yourself is limited information, or mistaken information in the case of Sherrod, but justified based upon your own opinion and the impossibility of telepathic ability. Again that would apply to claims that all Tea Partiers are racist, since we can make a cautionary accusation based upon limited info and lack of telepathic ability to actually determine what is in another's heart.
Are you implying that SamFisher was the one who made the harrassing phone calls to you? I am curious though about how Sam would get your actual phone number. To your credit I haven't seen you call anyone an "*******" but you have essentially said everyone is a racist.
The word racist is so loaded. My central tenet is that everyone has same-race inclinations. That's why it is a non-starter to start labeling some as racist because it serves some purpose. People at NCAAP meetings are not above this phenomenon. None of us are. It's what we do about it that matters.
I don't seriously think it was SF; he's hostile but not that hostile. I'm just using the verbiage of the thread. I think we are all accustomed to our own race by and large. Don't know what other word to use. As I've said, I think the folks in the NAACP audience were acting naturally. They could relate to Sherrod's tale. We all can. We all have initial impulses which often must be overcome.... just as Sherrod did. I think Sherrod's tale was a great one. She overcame. She recognized her short-coming.
