I just listened to the section from about 40-50 secs six times. The sound is mostly like laughter. The one guy up front seems to smile slightly.

Not only is the perception of anyone who first sees Obama, it is the perception of the law. He has a greater percentage than necessary of the genealogy to be considered black.
