It doesn't matter if it is or isn't. What's the point you're trying to make?

I read several people here saying that if Obama didn't win, it's because America is a racist country. I read people saying that, if you didn't vote for Obama, you were a racist.

Now basso posts a link to a story that contends the exact opposite, and he's a wingnut.

    Effing brilliant.

    Who?

Yeah, i'm going to guess that 7 years and 10,000 + posts and ~1000 threads started in this forum may contribute to this consensus. I could be wrong.

You truly don't recall that being said on this board? Really?

Edit: And my only point here is that basso HAS a point. The thread didn't get 10 posts in before the "oh-my-god-it's-basso-let's-get-'em" started.

His point is a variation of the theme that it's unfair that those hip-hop types get to say the N word in music videos, but when you do it it's considered racism...

I don't consider that much of a point. Just a version of a centuries-old whine. And considering the source of this thread, I would expect nothing less.

basso I love the tit for tat argument, some guy in Harlem opens an Obama Fried Chicken joint, it justifies an obviously racist song about Obama.

"Hey black people do it to", will when the GOP some minority votes.

Also, why don't you pimp the wing nut argument that poor minorities caused the economic global melt down that you were pimping earlier. That's also a winning formula.

That logic is one of the most unjustifiable beliefs that I've heard. The actual shocking part is, people seriously believe it. I didn't think it was a widespread belief, I was wrong.

politically mandated poor lending practices, which rich and poor, people of pallor as well as those of color, took advantage of, and the financial instruments built on those bad loans, caused the global economic meltdown. i never said any different.

You must not read this forum a lot. Basso's threads started taking on a car wreck quality a long time ago. The basso approves of Michael Steele thread is one of the most epic fail threads of the year.
