Racism in Korea

    I'd call most of what you describe as discrimination, not racism. A lot of secretaries in the US are very pretty, for the same reasons. For a guy especially, he'd rather fork over his money to a pretty girl, than an ugly one.

    that sounds like east Asia alright..... all of east asia. With such a homogeneous population it isn't surprising. Its more out of ignorance than any intent to do harm.

    It is mostly discrimination but there is racism to.

    I've lived and visited a lot of different countries but Korea is on a level i have not seen anywhere else in the world. Yes it does exist everywhere in the world but until you have spent time in Korea you can not understand how bad it is.

    china is totally different, mainly because as an ethnic group, we are very diverse genetically through out history. most are mixed in blood, it's much easier to accept others as long as you respect the local culture.
