He grabs 7 rebounds a game in a little over 20 minutes.

Andrew Bogut is a better rebounder than anyone on the Rockets.

And, yes, Kyrylo Fesenko is pretty damn awesome.

Do you guys have the direct HTTP link to where Feigen denied this rumor?

Personally, I think this rumor is full of it because:

    1) Landry and CV suited up to play over the weekend for their teams
    2) There is no word from the Chronicle about this deal, nor from any LA news source about Mihm
    3) Mutombo has rejected the Celtics which implies he is coming back to the Rockets

i don't think it's going to happen either, but i don't think any of those 3 reasons mean much. Teams are still going to try to win and play the guys they have until the deal is almost done, especially Houston, who uses landry more consistently than Milwaukee uses CV, i don't even think CV played last game.

#2 may mean something, but its not unsual for a paper not to report anything until it leaks out to the public, so they don't always know ahead of time.

Deke is still considering the spurs, so he's not a sure thing he'll be back.

    Whats up with the rumor?

Nobody denied it in 2 days. It seems like a solid rumor, enoughly important to come out and deny it. And nobody says nothing.

    Maybe tomorrow we have news?

Not happening. I know this for a fact in talking to the proper people. Don't ask for a link, you won't get one...

i don't know if it's gonna happen or not but i am interested in seeing the head-to-head Rox vs Bucks matchup this week. maybe we'll even get to see the direct one-on-one of Landry vs CV. either way, the only tiny hint of me wanting Landry to get traded would be so he can be truly appreciated on a team. i think that the majority of Rox fans take for granted what he does for this team and i think he could help the Bucks immensely. all in all if what Stevierebel says is true, i'm happy

CV have more blocks and rebounds (both offensive and defensive) than landry.

A 30% 3p shooter is still a respected number, but the best part i like about him is that, CV could make a cut with the ball and attack the rim.
And he could and will start and finished a break, which is something that landry cant do.

I cant understand why you guys wanted landry so much? Sure he can jump and hustle. But so do CV.

Yes 58% on shooting% is real good, but when you can only score in the paint, your FG% is going to be real nice.

I have not thought this through a enough to have a strong opinion onw way or another, but I have noticed that Landry's defense seems to have takena step back this year after showing some promise late last year / preseason this year. If anyone follows CV closely, I'd love to know what type of defender he is because Landry is forcing himself off the floor this year in many situations becuase he is being taken advantage of in the post.

Landry D looks worse than Steve Novak's. All the highlights NBA TV (saw the whole game) had for the game vs the Jazz had Landry looking lost, losing his man, an assignment, no matter the play, Landry just looked awful. So the Jazz basically made Landry a highlight reel. It was a good thing Scola was out there for the 4th quarter. Landry has to go.

Landry is a ferocious rebounder and he can at least dunk, something our other bigs seem to lack.

His defense IS atrocious, however. Well, it's okay when he gets reminded to play D, for example:

"Thanks to you they just put Matt Bonner on the All-Star balloting, he just prison-raped us, think you might play D as if your contract depended on it....you know, like last year? Hmmmmm?"

Landry's probable response: "Have you said the same thing to Tmac 21 million times or never?"

(long pause) "You got me there. Well, at least you can afford new long johns now, you'll need'em where you're going."

Woowee Waawoo! I wouldn't mind another semi-midrange scoring threat with a little height. CV is averaging almost a block a game. I say pull the trigger if we can't convince Mt. Mutombo to throw a block party for us.

He is certainly no defensive wizard.

    HELL NO .

I saw Villenuva played for Raptors.... not an upgrade over Landry at all.
Yah, all we need is another chucker from 3 pt line.

Above all, as so many members here pointed out : We are fine with PF position, that is not our weakness. Scolandry are giving us double-double every night.

Get a pg or backup c.

Lived in Texas for a while and used to listen to sports radio channels ... I almost believed that Chris Mihm was going to be #1 draft pick. No offense to Long Horn fans.

Actually its Scola averaging the double doubles, not Landry.
