I don't think LeBlanc would make such a good spin-off either. But, honestly, when you have a true ensemble show like this with six characters, I think trying to take just one out on their own is the kiss of death. The only reason Frasier suceeded is because he was a relatively minor character and they totally discarded any Cheers references so it was, in essence, a brand new show. They could attempt that with Joey by say moving him to L.A. so he could focus on his acting career. But I just don't think he's a strong enough character on his own to pull it off. I love him in the context of Friends -- he's a great comedic foil for smarty-pants Ross and neurotic Chandler. But I don't think I could take an entire show's worth of Joey.
I think Mathew Perry`s character has gotten worse and it does appear he is "mailing it in" and at 750k per episode this year and a cool 1 mil next year I think he could do better. And why has he put on more weight, when I see the re-runs he is like a stick. Ross has become an even bigger friggin geek Phoebe gets dumber and more annoying I still love the way Rachel fits into her shirts I wish they would end the show at the end of this year although if I were in their shoes I wouldnt turn down a million dollars per episode either. I dont see Ross and Rachel getting back together, it`s to easy of a storyline, I think Joey takes the prize. How you doin
There was one season that Perry was addicted to pain-killers and got really, really skinny. Since then he has had a hard time maintaining a constant weight. He has fluctuated badly. His hair has gotten bigger too, which caused him to look like Elvis in the most recent episodes.
LeBlanc had his own show (sorta) back in the late 80's or early 90's. It was a spin-off from "Married With Children", I think it was called "Top Of The Heap". I don't remember the entire plot, just that he was a boxer (Vinnie Verducci) and his father was some sort of scam artist type person. It was not a very good program, with the exception of having Kelly Bundy in the first episode.
