If RA leaves, Elson Turner will take over.

Samuel L Jackson. Just replace schoolwork w/ defense.

There may be a lot of candidates available that would be an improvement, but you're not going to know for sure until you give them a chance.

When the Rockets promoted Rudy to Head Coach, that came completely out of left field, but it turned out he was the right man for the job. When the Astros selected Larry Dierker as Manager, that was a complete shock, but I thought he did a great job.

I wonder if Bill Worrell has ever thought about coaching. Just kidding, sorta.

You guys should give Yao Ming a chance. No player he coaches will be taller than him. Great presence on the bench. And yeah, CH, I'd love the post game press conferences with Coach Yao.

Given the great relationship that he has with Mr. Alexander, my pick would be none other than Calvin Murphy. In all seriousness though, if I could pick, I would probably still give him a shot.

Adelman is a terrible defensive coach and has obviously given up because he knows he cannot win a championship here. He falls asleep on the bench allowing the team to take major downturns and also runs out crazy lineups.

I will take whoever Morey wants over this chump.

Mike Brown did a great job in Cleveland. 64 wins to 8 wins and they are well past the half way point of the season. Don't think LeBron is that good.

    Hakeem Olajuwon head coach,
Sam Cassell , Mario Ellie & Otis Thorpe as assistants.
I would have included Kenny Smith, but he is a great broadcaster.

I think Hakeem would seriously make a great future coach.

Never underestimate the heart of a champion!

Adelman tries to figure out what the team's strength is, and plays to that, it's why even with absurdly untalented rosters like we've been running the last 2 years, they've still been in the .500 range.

He's too good a coach for even a group of role players and terribles to do really badly.

My biggest issue with him over the years is he didn't until recently figure out the whole finals deal, what Phil Jackson (I'm pretty sure part of Jackson's contract is a slush fund for nba fines) realised is that by the time you've hit the finals, 80% of the time, the teams are so evenly matched, the key to victory is to influence the refs and psychology of your opponents, it's pretty rare any team gets out talented at that stage. (the only conference champions in recent times i can think of that really had barring injuries no hope whatsoever before it even started were the 07 Cavs)
