Oh man, the years when I still loved TMac! God he was an awesome individual talent...

I'm surprised Mike James is the right guy for this job. I know he was ultra competitive, but I didn't think he liked playing with teammates. He was always in great shape though, so I could see him helping with that.

Always like Mike James. Good bench scorer. Sometimes forced his shot, but overall good bench guy.

Wesley could not create off the dribble and Sura was a corpse by the time the playoffs rolled around, he was good but he had a lot of health issues.

I vividly recollect the first two games against the Mavs when he did help the team but he was never the same the other games.

I wouldn't call him a creator, but I was responding to "James was only 1 besides TMac who could do something off the dribble."

Wesley could shoot off the dribble just fine. Was he fast enough to get to the rim like a Cuttino...no. But he certainly wasn't a Jon Barry or Rafer Alston out there or Luther Head or Bev or Ariza who really could only shoot from a spot-up position off a pass.

I really loved that lineup of a mix of Wesley, Sura, James, Barry and Padgett....when TMac and Yao sat. Their ability to "do something off the dribble" and fastbreak was what made us so good after those trade deadline trades to get Wesley and James.
