Freak- I've never disguised my disdain for Drexler... I never let Basketball Fan override Observant Man, and maybe that's why I can peer through the veneer of his on-stage behavior and see that he's not the great guy out on the street that he is when the bright lights shine. Sniper, backstabber, surly to fans... that's the REAL Drex. ------------------ It takes a lot of brains to enjoy satire, humor and wit- but none to be offended by them.
In 93 I think Dream made his move to arguably the best player in the league. Chuck won the MVP based on Phoenix's record that year and while he had a great season Dreams was better offensively and defensively. They had anointed Chuck MVP by the All-Star break. The only team that could slow down Dream from 93-95 was Seattle. On the original topic I'm glad we got Clyde and he came home to get a championship and end his career in a Rockets uniform. The day Michael Jordan goes into the Hall of Fame Clyde Drexler will be right by his side.
