The footage is in the handsof Queensland Police. Don't think they will give it awyay Only one man can get his revenge on that damn Stingray
Steve did a great interview with Andrew Denton on Enough Rope last year..... have a look around there may be a torrent out there
torrents for that interview: http://www.mininova.org/tor/414582 http://rapidshare.de/files/31923286...h.Steve.Irwin.6.Oct.03.PDTV.xvid.torrent.html They replayed that interview last night. It's amazing how much passion that guy had for his life (his work was more than just a job to him). And when he almost cried talkin about his mom coz his parents were the world to him.
Wow. I said the exact same thing. He truly meant something. He wasn't just a tv celebrity. It was real.
He probably had no life insurance. I don't know what insurance company would cover him with his type of lifestyle. Hopefully, he saved enough and royalties will take care of his family.
Sad. Always sad when someone dies, but even worse since he has young children. Seemed like it was a freak accident too... happend to hit him in the one spot (heart) that'd kill him.
I'm very sad. Loved this guy. I also hate to say this, but I wouldn't be too terribly upset if Fatty Fat b*stard choked on a big mac and died.
For some reason, I am just really saddened by this...it's been a day almost now, and I don't know why exactly, but it just seems extra-sad for some reason...
You know what struck me about this? (nobody cares, but I was out drinking at the US Open and figured I'd chime in regardless) Anyway, I enjoyed Steve/Croc Hunter's show, but the thing that I enjoyed the most about it was not Steve's handling dangerous animals or tempting fate or putting himself in peril.......it was the fact that every time I watched him or his show, he was genuinely in awe of what he was doing/seeing/thinking, and in awe of nature in general and genrally enjoying every second of it. No matter what or where he saw or was doing, he was always absolutely enthused about every living second of it, and I found that somewhat inspirational. While I am sad that he is gone, and feel for his family, I can only hope that his attitude rubs off on more people....Steve Irwin was a great guy and I wish we had more folks like him.
You know what I hate? I've been texting the meanest comments about this whole thing because I find the situation hysterical. The sucky part is that I can't place them here because I'm afraid I'll get banned again. Needless to say, some of the things I've sent today have been priceless. And God does have a sense of humor, FYI.
It was a sad thing. It is odd that it was such a freak accident. I mean if the stingray had just stung him, Irwin would still be alive. But the stinger went right into his heart. What are the chances of that happening? It is very strange. RIP Steve Irwin.
I hope everyone remembers that God has a sense of humor... Otherwise, I've got a first-class ticket downstairs.
We need to get an impromptu pool going on how long it takes his death footage to get leaked on the internet. I say two weeks...
FFB is who he is. i know his remarks are off the wall and seem very insensitive and over the top, but i don't believe he's really the "*******" he portrays himself to be. his online persona may not be much different than real life (i've only met him briefly, once) but he's not as heartless as he seems, i hope. i can accept his sense of humor so what he posts doesn't really bother me. you just gotta see passed the words.
