Seriously, what the hell is so "controversial" about not calling someone a r****d?

I really don't get this thread.

Right, everyone should just be happy with the status quo and never strive to change anything for the better. Society learning to just be a little bit more respectful and polite is just too outrageous of a fantasy to achieve realistically....do you even read the stuff you write?

It's not the word but the intent.

Only as a verb, I'm guessing.

Have you tried cutting the word "epic" out of your vocabulary? It doesn't offend me, just kind makes you seem a bit underage.

Have you tried replacing the word "cutting" out of your vocabulary? Makes you seem a bit elementary, try not to eat the glue.

That extremely weak attempt to be funny at the expense of others less fortunate than you says a lot about your character.

Cry me a river. You don't know me. Who are you to worry about my character? It is OK for movies to say similar and in some cases, worse? Stop worrying about what someone on the internet says in remark to people making fun of people in a thread. How about discuss what you see on TV and in every day life where the term is used as much as LOL.

No, not in my book; what does that have to do with anything?

Why don't you speak for yourself instead of hiding behind "what movies say"??
