Thanks to the constant barrage of the pants commercial that is using this song, I now cant get it out of my head.

September -- Earth Wind and Fire

that isnt that bad actually, I like EWF..and I liked the song itself long before it got play in a commercial context.

I used to do sound for the dance bands Eclipse and Doppleganger, and they used to do this song all the time.

stupidest thing you ever saw, a no-dancing hippy soundman standing behind the board jammin back and forth to this song..If you are familiar with this song, you know what I mean.
When you hear this song, you have to move...you cant help it. ;)

Great one Mrs. JB I just got off of an Ella kick myself. "I won't Dance" with Louie A. is outstanding.

I heard Blind Melon's "No Rain" at lunch, I can never get that song out of my head!

    "Sunrise" by Simply Red.

It borrows off a riff from Hall & Oates' "I Can't Go For That"; basically, takes that song's bass line and, say, two of its lines but builds a new song around it. Veeeery catchy. I think it was the #1 dance song in Billboard not long ago. It deserves to be on mainstream radio:

The female guest vocalist sings the lines from the original song (I think these are the words):

where do you tell me to draw the line/you got the body now you want my soul/ooooh, forget about it say no go, yeaahh

And then Mick Hucknall jumps in:

    I don't know if it's even on your MI-IND at a-aalll

    It should be me

In this moment in time love's IN-DE-SCRIII-BA-BLE

    It should be me

    It could be me...
