I'm guessing it had something to do with our history of men being the breadwinners while women typically didn't work. Traditions are hard to break sometimes. I guess I've just been lucky with girls who see that I pay for a lot of things, so they've always been willing to split a bill with me, take me to the movies, or even buy me dinner. Sure, I pay for more than my girlfriend does, but she does pay for a good share.
ive been lucky too and had girls offer to split it and such, but when you do ask a girl out it is sort of already assumed that they guy pays. if she offers, then its a bonus but hardly guaranteed.
I only know about oil traders, so I'll tell about that. They buy and sell crude oil (either with their own money or for their company). They never actually take possession of that oil, but they buy the oil from the oil producers and sell it to the refiners. They make a very small margin, but because they move so much very valuable material, that small margin turns into a lot of dollars.
Here is another question that has always puzzled me. Why does the AL get to have different rules and procedures than the NL in Major League Baseball?
i heard that people of african descent cant use shampoo everyday bc it damages their hair. or their hair will fall out. is this true???

yeah. you shouldnt use shampoo everyday. You strip your hair of its natural oils that keep it healthy.
Why do asian chicks come to the club as a group (of around 4 or 5) and give no love to desperate white guys?
I used to trade energy, but then it got too volatile with the number of hedge funds starting to trade them around 2002 or so. This includes crude oil, natural gas, and RBOB gasoline. Those are some very wild markets you have these days, which half the time don't even move according to any fundamentals. The battle between Centaurus and Amaranth in 2006 was a great example of this. Myself, I stick to trading agricultural products like soybeans, corn, and wheat and a few select precious metals like silver. Trading commodities/futures as as pure speculator is quite profitable if you are on the right side of the trade due to the inherent leverage involved in every single contract. Imagine the stock market but on steroids. Trading commodities is one of the few endeavors in the field of trading that you can turn $25,000 into a million bucks within a year if you are good. In the general stock market, even if you are good you might turn that same $25,000 into $75,000. But then again 90% of those who pursue any sort of trading career fail.
