For real, KG seems like a faker. "Fake tough guy" Nevertheless, I'm happy for the Celtics, him and his team

As somebody who is intensely competitive and doesn't hide his emotions, KG's actions are perfectly understandable to me, even if they are over the top. Some people never understood my passion/emotion when I played or was involved in competitive sports, either.

My parents hate watching sports with me because I get so emotional when good or bad things happen to teams I want to win.

Maybe you completely missed what I said. During the game, KG is a very intense player who leaves it all on the floor. I don't like his excessive celebration before/after games and when the ball is dead. But it doesn't change the fact the guy doesn't slack. Try to see the forest for the trees.

If KG did all that stuff and played soft half the time like Rasheed Wallace, I'd despise him just like you, maybe even more.

Some of you guys are pathetic. We, as fans sometimes get so emotional just watching these games on t.v. Now imagine if you are one of the players who just experienced the greatest accomlishment of you career.

You gotta love KG pouring his heart out.

Wow, I guess everyone has to find a reason to hate whoever the champ is.

Everything I've read about Garnett is that he is a great player AND person.

Hating on someone for being too emotional? Umm, ok. It's not like the guy is an ass.

It's funny because I hear from people close to the players who say KG is a big jerk. Then guys you would think from the media are jerks are actually really cool (like Carmelo). Doesn't mean any of that is true -- I don't know any of them. Just what you hear.

I don't understand people who didn't see KG's rant at the end as phony, but maybe it's just me. To me, that was blatant KG acting like the media-creation of KG. When he did the mountain man yelp of "Anything is possible!!!!!1111111", I could feel the throwup in my throat. There was very little genuine about it to me.

He's certainly a talented player though.

Exactly. It's such an surprising or odd dislike. They want ALL players to be as unemotional as possible and NOT show emotion. You don't see KG hitting players unneccessarily and causing trouble. Dude plays hard and shows unbelievable emotion.

Yup, people have to find something, just something, to dislike about any and everyone. It's unfortunate.

With all that said, congratulations Celtics.

Back to the Rockets. I hope they all have learned something.

I know. I'm thinking... well, he didn't (allegedly) rape anybody, and he DOESN'T FLOP, so...

EDIT: I just saw the footage of which Clutch speaks, and yes, I threw up a little in my mouth. I had not watched the post-game last night. There's just about zero % chance that his little performance was genuine. And what was genuine about it, to my eyes, was the self-obsessed part of it. Telling Russell "I got mine!" is so anti-Russell I don't know where to start.

Now, that sounds a bit phony(the mountain man yelp thing), but I didn't sit around to watch the postgame. I just don't think his on court actions are a fraud.

Totally understand where youre coming from. I felt the same way. It just came off feeling a little fake. Kinda like he felt, I just won a championship, I got a stick in my face, i see the red light on, I better act like an ass clown like you guys want me to.

I'm not asking players to say

We can't get too high, we can't get too low. We just got to take it one game at a time. You know, it is what it is.

am i the only one who thinks that KG should've used "impossible is nothing!" instead of "anything is possible!!", that'd made it one of the best moments of the finals. lol

People really thought that was phony? I thought it was real. He's an emotional guy. Remember when he cried in that interview with John Thompson, when the Twolves were sucking?

And tonight, after that anything is possible scream, it looked like he was in tears. Can he fake tears? I don't know, maybe I'm just naive.

How exactly did he "put his team on his back with huge plays." I can think of more huge plays made by P.J Brown and James Posey EACH throughout this title run than Garnett.

    KG is a joke.

I dont get it, first you say tmac and yao are bad because they no show emotions.

Then you praise Sasha Vujacic for playing with a lot of emotions, and you want him in the rockets, because he would bring emotion and motivation to the team.

But you hate KG for being a very emotional player, who likes to motivate himself.

    I dont get it!!
