No,they're not together, but both of them are Israelis and both of them are friends,I guess they met in the states or something.
Highly doubt Garcia will be a garbage time player. After stepping up his game in the playoffs, he will most likely be getting at least 20+ minutes a game. As for Casspi, I trust Morey's decision. People weren't exactly looking forward to Delfino being on our team but he was a terrific player with us. Same could be said For Casspi, going from a losing environment to a winning one could change players quite a bit.
Hi O.M.R! Let me jump in on that one: Casspi can certainly make a fine stretch-4 - He's got the size, and he became really strong in the last couple of years - He plays both positions (3/4) in the Israeli national team - He is a decent rebounder & even shot blocker 3pt shooting I don't really think you're right about him dropping in 3pt% lately: Last summer, when Omri played for our national team in the European championship qualifications, he was #1 in the wholw tournament (=in the continent!), with a stellar 52% from beyond the arch, with a nice number of attemts too. Furthermore - he brought that with him to the Cavs season - I remember that back in December or January Omri was the NBA leader(!) in 3pt%. (I can prove it if you insist I just need to check my mail and I can show a screenshot I took at the time...) Oddly enough - that's exactly the time that Scott benched hime permanently. Go figure... I'll add some about your D-questions later, if you don't mind
Wondering what happens with Jack and GSW. Great loss along with Landry. I'm not sure Iggy is that much better than these two.
I don't believe that. Both have played in very troubled teams. It's very difficult to shine in such environment when you are not the center of it. Note, many of the mid, late first rounders, if they land in good teams (e.g. Faried and Kawhi Leonard), become significant players. Not because they were better prospects but because they absorb the influence.
